I opened the box and my jaw dropped to the floor like this  EEK!
They are truly way too beautiful for words.
But this is the story they speak:

I pulled them out of the box and placed them around my neck,
They graced the curve of my collar bone,
like a glass slipper fit cinderellas foot, a perfect fit.

I glanced back into the mirror and saw the pearls lying apon my neck, in complete awe,
I imagined myself standing there in my wedding dress.
On my wedding day, a feeling like
"this is the first day of the rest of my life"
and that brought tears of joy to my eyes.

As I seen each pearl so perfectly round and glowing from within,
with subtle tones from rose to green,
if something could resemeble a flower,
this would surely be it.

They are Freshadama Freshwaters.

i would pay a premium for this strand. it is a beautiful strand. you could hand this down to your child. I'm sure it will keep well with good care.

I agree with the rest however. More pictures, please!

Forgot to mention that the rose overtones are really noticable in your photos and look great.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! :D
That's what I was trying to capture, the rose overtones.
Some of the pictures are grainy and not close enough to really be able to tell,
but the rose overtones are rather prominate in real life.

The lady who I worked with on the strand,
personally selected pearls from a special lot
that closely resemble the hanadama akoyas with rose overtones.
She hand picked the most flawless pearls with like no blemishes and made me the best strand I will ever see in my life!
I'm impressed. ;)

I feel like I am always pestering people about this, bit as I haven't asked recently....can we have a shot of you wearing them? You can just do a shot from the chin line down if you don't want to have on your on a public website. But I want to see this curve and se the pearls against your skin. It is always such a better image for me. :D Besides, it can help us all imagine your wedding day more clearly. They lok lovely though, I think you made a great choice. What size did you end up getting? I can't remember.

Hi S flower,

Those are truly a treasure! The lovely colors really come through in your photos. You will surely be a beautiful bride and of course, live happily ever after!!!

so many pearls, so little time

Congratulations for the pearls and your ... negotiating skills! It looks as if you depleted PP's secret drawer of top freshwater pearls!

I am booking this thread for wedding pictures! ;)

Dear Spherical Flower,

I haven't contributed much to your various threads, but have followed your trials and tribulations over this strand. You now have the most elegant FW strand I have seen - congrats to the PP staff - perfect for your wedding day. Dare I say, but the clasp looks perfect too - elegant, minimalist, and doesn't detract from the colour and beauty of the pearls. Well done, and I hope you get great joy from them.

Hi Spherical Flower
I am glad you are happy with that necklace. It looks to be a real treasure. It is truly gorgeous.

Wow! I've never seen so much rose overtone. Congratulations!

Wow!!! Beautiful pearls!!! You are going to glow on your wedding day with your gorgeous pearls. Congratulations.

I hope you are feeling better...

Hi again, :)

The size of the freshadamas are 7-8 mm.
The freshadamas have a white body color with rose overtones.
They were hand-selected to resemeble hanadama akoyas.
The pearls were hand-selected to be seriously nearly flawless.
The clasp is 7 mm brushed (matte) finish white gold ball clasp.
The strand length is 18 inches and they fit my neck like a glass slipper.

I am glad that I did not spend 2.5-4 grand on hanadama akoyas.
I am glad that I did not spend 3 grand on low grade mikimotos.

I am glad that I have 100% solid nacre freshwater pearls.
I am glad that I have naturally round pearls.
I am glad that the rose overtones are natural and are not from dye.

I am glad that I have chosen to buy
a strand of freshadamas from PearlParadise.com
