It is very yin/yang -from the reaches of outer space to the ocean depths. The meteorite is very heavy for its size. I have always been crazy for meteorites and now I have a fab one as jewelry, balanced by the Kamoka orb. I thank Anna a million times for this treasured creation.
Caitlin - that is a truly unique piece and just beautiful. I love the symbolism of the extremities of the universe coming together, too. I can certainly imagine it suiting you very well. Can we please have a neck shot?
I would not have imagined 4 years ago when I joined the forum that a thread about my designs would happen one day !!
We all say this forum brought us a lot, it's my turn to say it again
It's wonderful waking up, checking new posts on PG and finding this !!!
I was lucky to this this piece at the RUCKUS and the picture really does not do it justice. It is so different and unusual but very nice. Kudos to the designer Anna. Catiin it looks lovely on you.
Thanks for so many nice feedbacks.
I calculated that there are 5497 Miles 8846.5 Kilometers between Caitlin and I, so how to manage creating jewelry so far away from each other?
That's what I am going to tell.
First I collected several pieces of meteorites worth being mounted into jewelry. That's not so common because it is made of 97% iron and a lot just look like a piece of plain iron .
Last december, I prepared a set of photo, each meteorite presented with a Japan kasumi pearl and a Tahiti pearl.
See after, guess which one Caitlin choose
