Thanks everyone. Here are a couple of daylight pics. A close-up of the clasp for Caitlin. There was recently another thread about basket clasps here -

You can basically clasp it around any pearl that will fit it in it. This one is an 11mm I believe, and clasp around pearls up to about 8mm. I also see in the light of day that I have some cleaning up work to do on the strand. Expect to see some more metal as I fill in some pukas (spaces) in the knotting.

Thank you. As for the arranging, I worked very hard at randomness, which is difficult for me.
I got my clasp from Otto Frei. They also have them at Bella Findings.

I've been away from the p.c. and just caught up on this thread.
So many beautiful variations on the theme....
And all fabulous.
I gave in and completed 100" rope, and am halfway through a second.........
And gave myself tennis elbow, so I can't knot for a couple of weeks or so......

I have big plans for this weekend: 340 multicolor 3.8-4.2mm little pearls and 17 big 17-25mm multicolor bead nucleated baroques will be knotted ( between EVERY pearl!! ) into the rope. I threaded them on dandyline yesterday, tonight I'll start knotting.... and knotting..... and knotting...
By Monday it should be done !!

Here it is. Knotting wasn't so bad. Actually it went better and faster than I thought. Now I'm making a bracelet to go with it...
