This reminds me of when I proposed my ab/poe pipi pin (and former avatar) to Bo Torrey as an illustration in Pearl World. He admitted the colors were a bit too much for him. I said they were my high school colors (blue and gold, Linden Lions…All pom-poms raised!).

Bo said his were black and orange, the Tigers, which should therefore be his favorite pearl colors.

I asked him if the pearls would preferably be striped.

All these months (years?) later, here we have it.

See alot of ab coating on dyed mop beads already, and mystic is showing up on all sorts of gemstone beads, including sapphires.
