Thank you everyone! I just found out about this article this morning.
lisa c, boring out a little window in souffle pearls and slicing them were something completely new that I started working with earlier this year but it was a natural for me to line them with seed pearls.
This is a felt ring I made few years ago. The interior is lined with 2-2.5 mm seed pearls.

That felt ring is so fun, h. I recall seeing a giant wool strand of pearls you made but don't remember where now. I just loved the whimsy of it.
