Some more Kamokas - with a wrist shot!

Now that is a "knock around necklace"! Truly lovely!!

I am a new member, but during the last weeks I have been reading quite a lot in your interesting forum. I have seen here by now quite a number of lovely pictures of Kamoka pearls. Every time I am struck by their lustre and amazing range of colurs. At first I thought this was due to a specially gifted photographer of pearls, but by now I am convinced it is the characteristic of the origin of these pearls or more specifically the genius of Josh!!

Sabine, welcome to the forum!
The European gang is getting stronger and stronger :)

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce somebody with many years experience in pearl busuness, exquisite taste and endless devotion to pearls. Not to speak about being almost a professional in photographing pearls. My avatar, by the way, is coming from her...

Sheri, - as usually brilliant!
Josh, you again deprive me of my already bad night sleep...

Dear Olga,

thank you for the warm welcome to this forum. In fact it was you who introduced it to me. Than you also for that.

Sabine, welcome to the forum.
Sheri, they may not be Josh's finest, but that necklace looks absolutely lovely on you.

Thank you! They sure feel good on the neck...not too heavy, but you know they're there. I often sleep in these...

Is there any way to re-post the redXed photos of the other items? All I see are red Xs, and they won't open even with my 'open' program, won't co-operate.
Thanks, if anyone saved them and would post them again, I'd be grateful

Oh, bummer.

Thanks Jeremy, for answering anyway; that's one of the nicest things about this site, people aren't left hanging.

Now I know what you mean by 'cleaning up the posts', too.

I'm a bit confused...I can see the all the pics just fine, no red x's anywhere.

Stunning pearls, btw! I'd love a necklace like that just to hang around in.

Well, there were other pictures , but since they were in a temporary place which expired, they showed up as red Xs.

Jeremy deleted all the expired shots, the red Xs, that's why you see no Xs and do see the remaining photos...He called it 'cleaning up'.

I agree, the necklace is cool, isn't it. Ya, when it comes to Tahitians and the other Special pearls, second best is nothing to sneeze at. I'd love to see the second rates come up on offer. That's if they haven't, already - maybe they have? I'm relatively new here and still catching up on the old posts, and could've missed the event.

So, anyway, hello and welcome!

Can't see why you call them knock about pearls. Or why Josh would not want them showcased. They are beautiful. All. So they are not AAA - well how many of us can afford AAA in Tahitians? for a necklace or bracelet. Let alone to keep for oneself.

Thank you all! And I kid you not - these are Josh's "duds" (or as the dear Kamoka cook Camelia put it, his "caca pearls"). Just goes to show the quality of the farm...

Sheri

They are just beautiful on you! I would take those "caca pearls" anyday!! :D
