Economical Ring

So this thread started a conversation back in April between myself and Rob and Denise that led to a little project. I asked them to design and make me a pendant using my Mauna Kea Moonlight image. Here it is! I haven't seen it in person, but it is pretty amazing in pictures and I had to share. As you can see, I had them put it on an enhancer connection so I can wear it on a simple chain, or on a strand of pearls. Or on a strand of champagne diamonds like they used for the photos, which will, unfortunately, not be coming to America with the pendant.

Sheryl, your pendant is BEAUTIFUL! They did a wonderful job designing and creating your moonlight image. I'm looking forward to seeing some neckshots when you get it.

I'll have to do some shopping at Rob and Denise's shop myself.

Wear it in good health!

What is the texture, is it all silver?

In fact I like the second design even better. I think pearls are mounted there in a more stable way.

Olga

Aesthetically, I also prefer the 2nd design...

My First Abalone

My First Abalone

I would like to share with you my Abalone Pearls which I ordered from www.naturalpearl.co.nz
I ordered the pendant with basalt and cultured abalone pearl, also a pair of natural abalone earring studs.
The service was excellent. Denise, send me 3 pair of earings to choose from. Since I would like to wear these "beauties" from morning until night I chose the naturat abalone studs. I hope to enchant all who see them.

Thank you so much for you wonderful comments. It has been difficult
over the years, trying to educate people on the existence and rarity of natural pearls. The Forum has given us "Sanity" as far as appreciating
and respecting our knowledge of rare natural pearls.
For all the education we give people through our studio - the same old
question is always asked by some "bad listener" - where do we farm
our pearls - that question always "wrecks my day." Cultured pearls
have been marketed well, and indoctrinated into generation after
generation. I love purists and that is what I love about the forum.
It was fantastic when "The Smetzlers" visited us. It is a privilege
to share some of our designs with the Forum. You run a great
SHIP Caitlin and we love being a part of it.
Any of the Forum are most welcome to visit us at any time.

This will be my 1000th post here at Pearl-Guide, am pleased that it should be to acknowledge the good folks in Oakura…

Our VISIT was fantastic! Remember, you're the Grail! As a bonus, visitors will discover one of New Zealand's most beautiful and pristine regions, with amazing sights to see. Anyone needing directions, don't hesitate to ask!

Begs mention that your elegant bolo tie One for the Cowboy made its public d?but at the first annual ICPGC (International, Consequential Pearl Guide Conference, aka 'The Ruckus').

Economical Pendant

Hi There,
I thought I would share one of our designs.
This simple design (Koru Pattern - The Koru is the frong of our
NZ Fern and our National Symbol) can be made into a pendant
many different ways. With the current Gold Prices the idea is to make an
affordable Pendant using a base pattern.[/ATTACH]Econ Forum 3.jpgEcon Forum 4.jpgEcon Pendant Finished 5.jpgEcon Finished 6.jpgEcon Finished 7.jpg

Keep it up! We love it! Did you sell the redesigned ring? Just wondering, it is a fabulous price for an abalone ring!

Thank you so much. Yes we sold that ring. Here is
another - silver, 18ct yellow gold and one Larger Pearl
$300.00 USD - Making it in silver allows for a reasonable price
