Oh My God! Pp Monthly!!

Ok, If I get an unstrung strand and use my PP coupon....

now I need to find time to make a call without my husband around.

(and when I get caught I am blaming it on all of you)

"Um... the people on the internet made me do it!"

BTW- Is there a new coupon? I tried to use my PPD-08 one from my last purchase and it didn't work :( Made me really sad too.

So, I think I'll just relax until it gets here in the mail, and then I'll decide about getting another strand.

The Pearl Outlet has blue freshwater studs.

awwww man! I was going to order the 7-7.5 mm last night, but my coupon code wouldn't work, so I e-mailed Jeremy and was planning on ordering after I got off work today. Now they're sold out :( that's what I get for trying to be cheap and save 10 bucks!

Oh wow! I didn't know how soon these would sell. Now I wish that I just bought the extra strand!

I wonder if they are Japanese or Chinese Akoyes..... On pictures they look amazing, even better than Vietnamese ones. I would appreciate if Jeremy could give us more information about them....

Try choosing the yellow clasp instead of the white - I got the "out of stock" message when I tried to order the 7-7.5 in white gold, but was able to successfully order the necklace with yellow (and since I am just going to cut it apart anyway, the clasp color didn't matter to me). You can always have the clasp replaced later, but at least you will have the pearls...

unfortunately that didn't work, Boo. They're completely sold out!

Rats! :( I'm so sorry - I placed my order this morning and I guess I got lucky. I am really surprised to see a monthly special sell out in a day. Does anyone know if the other sizes are selling out or just the smallest ones?

Imanit,
I chatted with Natalie yesterday. They are Japanese akoya.
Was the PG exclusive in '07 Vietnamese?

Looks like the cheapest are gone. IMO I think the bigger ones will be available longer since they're a bit more pricey. :p

Hi,
I am home now. According to Natalie, for each of the size category listed, they have about 15-16 strands. The larger size, they have 3 strands.

Well it looks like I am missing out on this one. Not sure if I am happy or sad. (car went in for repairs this morning but I REALLY wanted the 7mm ones)

I look forward to seeing everyones once you get them. :)

me too-I guess I'll live vicariously thru everyone else! Hopefully next month's will be another very beautiful and affordable special!

Great, I go in the hospital for a few days, with no Internet and come back to find a bunch of gorgeous pearls with Sold Out all over them. boo, hoo, hoo. I know the big ones are still there, but I have been put on a buying moratorium by the hubby. I could of snuck one of those little ones by though. I guess I've been saved by a bad appendix. I can't wait to see them on you all!

I can tell you that the blue akoyas are breathtaking and probably very unlike any other pearls that you own.
An inspiring post, Boo! On my only visit to Pearl Paradise Jeremy had received his first such shipment and I was fortunate enough to handle them. Then we acquired a beautiful platinum SS keshi necklace from Druzy with blue highlights that my wife adores. Still, couldn't bring myself to acquire a cultured BEADED pearl necklace.

If someone just felt the earth shake it may be the pearl gods chuckling at my purchase of the 9.0/9.5mm blue akoya strand. But the value is undeniable.

Will add my photo to the others upon receipt.

That is so funny smetzler! Never thought I would see the day! But they are beautiful, and as I said in my earlier post, boo's writing on these was simply beautiful!

:eek: Aww, Nerida, you're making me blush! I really do tend to wax rhapsodic about these, and it is funny because I am a bit of a nacre snob. However, they really are exceptional. I am quite jealous of Steve for snagging the large strand, but I am glad it has found such a wonderful home.

Dear Callire,
Thanks for the heads up! I have been waiting for these since I missed them in 2007. Now I just need to find matching earrings.:)
