Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

I tried to find some still photos from the movie "Leave Her To Heaven" because I knew Gene Tierney wore a gaspipe necklace in it over a mock neck pullover. That look has always stuck in my head.

But then I found a TON of photos of her wearing layers of pearls. She loved her pearls.

I love that that Tahitian in the middle in the charm bracelet, funky_pearl! Beautiful rainbow.

Let's take a vote:

Brilliant idea? OR Never do that again!

The druzy and the diamonds really sparkle in motion, which you can't see from the still photo.
But I think the two pearls clash.

Thank you babynurse! you know your HG ripple strand was the one that spurred ALL subsequent HR ripple purchases on this forum, including mine! And your strand is still my favorite.

I'm immensely flattered, Purranha : )

I love your pearl bracelet, funky pearl!

BWeaves, each of those pieces is truly a work of art but I think my vote would be to wear them separately.

My PP silver T and white SS strand, created by Chenai who has the patience of a saint.

Hats off to LitGeek who owns the original gorgeous inspiration strand:eek:

Thanks, Baby Nurse. That's kind of the way I was leaning. I was taking one off and putting one on, and in the in between moment, I took a quick look in the mirror and thought, "Whoa? Maybe?" But, no.

But your necklace is gorgeous!

Bweaves, I like the two together! In the photo the little round pearl is overshadowed, but with the resulting look - small sacrifices for a dramatic look!

Thanks Lisa. Now I'm waffling between wearing them together again. First world problems.

The Swan by itself today. I'm still trying to capture the incredible oil slick orient it has in a photo. I've given up calling it The Leaf Pearl. It will forever be The Swan to me now.

(Snicker-grins) Always glad to help! Seriously, it was a good Look!

and I know! - first world problems; but as long as we're blessed it's our duty to enjoy the first world, as long as we help out, somewhere, somehow. I'm not being flippant; if I were third world and suffering, I would resent (maybe hate) first-worlders for not enjoying the blessings. Not that we first worlders get to avoid suffering, pain or anxiety, it just looks like we do.

Well, do I have a mouthful of foot, or what?
