Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Visiting Dad today. Natural white Hanadama rope from PP. New blue akoya and white teeny tiny keshi rope from PP. Spring Rain ombre' blue pendant from Kojima with a white gold Viking knit choker. Dyed drops with white topaz silver hoops from Kojima. The white topaz sparkle like little diamonds.

I thought about making some "replica" earrings with the intense blue akoyas and diamond earring findings from a previous PP Live event, but they just got too expensive, and I kept looking at these inexpensive Kojima earrings and thinking, "But these look so good."

That new blue Akoya is so pretty and will look fantastic with so many of your other pearls, BWeaves. And yay to mixing your whites!:giggle:

The inner Tahitian strand is from Kamoka, and the outer is from Hawaii. The cherry Tahitian studs are from a PP Hong Kong live event.

OOO, gorgeous T's, JEG!

I don't put up a Christmas tree, so I decorated me with baubles. All Kojima, except for the really intense strand from Pacific Pearls. Necklaces are freshwater pearls. Earrings are Kasumi pearls with rose cut amethysts. Yes, I'm wearing a merino wool sweatshirt, because it's cold in Florida today, and pearls go with everything.

I can't stop looking at all the colors of these pearls.

Hubby is an enabler, sending me down another pearl rabbit hole with a Christmas gift of white South Sea Pearls. Plus this clasp! Oh am I a sucker for a fancy clasp, diamonds, rubies and white jade. I think I need more white SS pearls in my life, lol.

Thank you Jeremy and BWeaves!

I love all those purply pinky colors, BWeaves! They have a luscious luster.

Merry Christmas to you, CatMom! Your hubby outdid himself this year with that beautiful, beautiful bracelet! I’m guessing it has not left your wrist. Enjoy wearing and gazing at that wonderful piece!:giggle:

Thanks jeg! You are so good at jewelry making. I love the bracelet and the earrings are beautiful as well.

Thanks so much, CatMom! Can’t wait to see what other SS’s you add to your collection now that you have the bug!;)

Thanks so much, Douglas, CatMom, lary007, and Jeremy!
And from a quiet, refined afternoon tea with a special friend… to a hopping birthday party with a group of friends celebrating an 80th birthday! Wearing a golden SS pendant from Katbran, and a bracelet worn as a necklace. The pearls are J. Hunter Fiji pearls I chose on a visit to the PP vault several years ago.

I love this look with the ribbon and the bracelet! I'm going to be experimenting with that!

I was busy stringing pearls today! Both are new 'old' strands. The yellow akoyas are from Pacific Pearls and their discovered stash from Hong Kong. Yes, the pearls are gorgeous, but I love the story behind them, too. Just think, they've been waiting for someone to give them a home for 60 years. I am delighted they are here with me!!

The second strand is a recent purchase of pre-loved pearls. I've posted them in the 'Identify my Pearls' forum. I think they're blue baroque akoya but regardless, I like them.

I probably wouldn't normally wear them together but hey, they are both getting some well-deserved love today.

Thanks so much, Tiger! I haven’t used that idea in a long time. Oh, I’ve been eying those vintage Akoya. I really love the soft colors of vintage Akoya. I would wear those two strands together anytime!

Little h Tahitian and ruby earrings, with two Tahitian necklaces I put together.
