Welcome Shani! So glad you found this forum to add to your pearl adventures. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I empathize with what you are going through. Na Hoku is a reputable jewelry store. There are several on the islands, and a few other locations. I have purchases from them as well. Good luck making it through the rest of the thread and again, welcome to the forum!

Ok, Ladies....He's here!!! Sheri & I have been collaborating on this project since last year. It's been a long wait but well worth it! Took my breath away when I opened the package. I cannot sing Sheri's praises enough!! This is an amazing statement piece & could not have come to fruition without her talent & amazing gift of design. Thank you, Sheri! You have outdone yourself with this one!!!

I've taken a couple of pics indoors & outside in shaded light. I will be taking more pics later.
Introducing Kanaloa...Ancient Hawaiian God of the Sea...
Holy hell is that ever WILD! Wow!

My special request from Takahashi Pearl just arrived. I wear mostly studs when I travel because they are easy to pack and easy to wear in any weather. I asked Mr. Seki if he could find some blue baroque Akoya for me. I chose two pairs for studs, and two pairs as loose pearls to use in dangly projects. I took some pics of my package because there is a ‘Certificate of Guarantee’ that is included and new since my last purchase.

And also a pearl outfit-
A round golden SS necklace from Kojima, a high luster golden SS mix from a PP Ruckus, and earrings I made with Myanmar golden SS from Druzy.

How beautiful! Love Takahashi pearls. Your Goldens are so stunning.

Thanks so much, pearlgirl12 and 86C! I haven’t decided what I’ll do with the loose pearls yet, but one pair will probably be added to a simple chain to use for jackets.

One of the new blue baroque Akoya studs from Takahashi, with a SOC keshi necklace from Kojima, and a tin cup bracelet I put together with loose pearls from Takahashi.

Love the colors, especially the bracelet! ❤️

Thank you, multichrome! What a nice compliment.:o

When I purchased a strand of freshwater pearls a while back from Kojima, I asked Sarah if she had any extra pearls that would work to make an extender for the strand. She sent such gorgeous, lustrous, rainbow pearls, I just couldn’t see hiding them in the back as an extender. I finally got around to making something else with them, with some extra pearls in my supplies. I used some keshi and the tiny brownish pearls are wild, naturally formed Sea of Cortez pearls I got from Carolyn Ehret. It gives the necklace an overall coppery, greenish, pink color. Worn here with a strand I made of freshwater pearls from Hong Kong. This is what I’m wearing to vacuum today! I tried to get my Adidas in the pic, but the angle wasn’t right. ;)
Here are the pearls she sent-

Hi Jeg, gorgeous pearls! When you created the FWP strand did you tie off any of the larger pearls or just string it? What did you use to string it? Thank you!

Thanks so much, CatMom, BWeaves, 86C and Shani! BWeaves, I’m glad I have that one;).

Shani, I had to find that necklace to see what I did because I tend to go back and forth with that style as to whether I use wire or thread. I was pretty sure I used wire, but I was surprised to find it was on thread. I ran the thread straight through and did not use additional knots between the larger beads. For all my projects with thread, I exclusively use Pattye’s Serafil.

A tin cup necklace I made with Akoya pearls from PacificPearls.US,, dangly keshi and tourmaline earrings from Kojima, and a strand of tiny FW pearls from a PP Live event. I put myself on the waitlist for these little pearls because I originally thought I would use them with my projects, but for now, I strung them up to wear. I might just leave them as a necklace.

OOO, lovely JEG, as usual.

Lighting is terrible for me today. Pistachio baroque akoya necklace from PP. It was the only one at my first Ruckus. Never seen one since that was THIS pistachio. Pistachio Tahitian studs from Kojima. Never seen any since that were THIS pistachio. Pistachio Tahitian tin-cup from Kojima. It's the reason I didn't buy JEG's SOC necklace, because it looked too similar to my Tahitian one that I'd just bought, except mine is seriously pistachio. And a mixed random tin-cup from Kojima. Baby Nurse got its twin. Tahitian ring from Kojima. SOC ring with pearl from Douglas at my last Ruckus set in a pink gold Frost setting from PP.

I seriously lucked into the best pistachios.
