Pretty pearls, Shani, and whoa, working your way through this thread! The photo size isn’t on your end. If you’re comparing to smaller photos from early on in this thread, there have been several platform changes since then. I’ve noticed some of my old photos/posts no longer appear or open something else, and also with the most recent change, I can no longer adjust the size of the photo. I’m still not used to the big pics!

A tin cup I made with random vintage Akoya I chose from Fuji’s (PacificPearl.US) boxes. Worn as a lariat with a FW Kojima pendant. I wire wrapped the FW earrings as an experiment with huggies a while ago and have left them as is.

Shani ‐ welcome to PG! I have gone through a lot of the older pages too. I've been here since 2014 I think but there's a ton I haven't seen. It really is a feast for the eyes. And thank you for adding you fabulous pearls to the mix! Side note - did you get the ones you bought from PP from a live sale? That necklace looks very familiar!

Jeg - Oh I love those little pearl huggies! The drops look great on those. Those vintage akoyas still have fantastic luster too

JEG: Huggies with drops are my favorite way to wear pearls as earrings. Today I swapped out my good Kasumi pendants onto Mom's large diamond hoops. Worn with The Divine Sarah pendant. There is NOTHING like this pendant. Intensely blue at the top, with rainbow colored bands of purple, orange, gold, green, pink. The nacre is soooo thick on this pearl that you actually look into it. Lighting is terrible today and the intense colors and luster are not showing up. All from Kojima.

You can see me holding my camera in the pearls, the surface is that shiny.

Thank you, lary007. I really love the soft colors of vintage Akoya. Thanks, BWeaves- you have a great collection of huggies. I haven’t brought myself to invest in any pearl charms or huggies, so this little experimental pair is it. That pendant is all around unique. The shape, color and bail are just striking.

JEG: Those look terrific! I have a hard time mixing my various white pearls together. I find it easier to mix and match the colorful ones. But when I see someone else mix white pearls, I need to try it more.

Lighting has been terrible here.

Yesterday I wore my new blue and keshi rope from PP with a feather pearl from Kojima and black and white Tahitian studs from Kamoka. They're actually blue and eggplant.

Today I wore La Petite Perlagrina and my other black and white studs from Kamoka. These are lavender and peacock. The Tahitian drop is only 9mm, but very shiny with a rainbow of colors. Worn with a purple sweatshirt.

Oh was I lusting after AP-16 tonight on PP Live. This was the natural pearl strand with the diamond clasp. I probably spent that much alone on pearls this year. I really shouldn't, but I've always wanted a nice natural strand and that one was gorgeous.

Grey day today. I'm 100% Kamoka chested. Black and white Tahitian studs (the blue and eggplant pair). The 2019 All Josh Harvest strand. My eyes always go straight to the white flying saucer on one side and the big black moon on the other side. Kamoka has never made another Harvest strand like this one.

Somebody saved me and bought AP-16 from the PP Live natural pearl event last night. Whew! Of course, now I'm lusting after the AP-13 30" platinum tin-cup with the ring. Do . . . not . . . need. And still lusting after that golden Fiji necklace, too.

Bweaves - that entire live stream was amazing to me. Just getting to see all those pieces in one setting is so incredible, even if I can't get any myself! My eyes went to exactly the same pearls on the harvest strand too.

Jeg - you give me so much inspiration when you match up things that I just wouldn't think to pair together. It always looks fantastic and it helps me step out of my comfort zone a little more.

Today I have on a little h souffle and ruby pendant, rainbow edisons in the revamped blossom setting, and a ring featuring a deliciously pink and green metallic freshwater pearl. All from Pearl Paradise at some point.

And from a quiet, refined afternoon tea with a special friend… to a hopping birthday party with a group of friends celebrating an 80th birthday! Wearing a golden SS pendant from Katbran, and a bracelet worn as a necklace. The pearls are J. Hunter Fiji pearls I chose on a visit to the PP vault several years ago.

Black sweats and white pearls. JEG inspired me to mix my white pearl colors. Mikimoto earrings. Natural white Hanadama rope from PP with a disco ball screw clasp. My first pearl rope of pinked akoyas that I bought myself back in 1982, with a disco ball screw clasp. Betty Davis' teeth silver white freshwater keshi necklace from Kojima. I got this right after watching All About Eve, and the necklace reminded me of Betty Davis' teeth in that movie. (Yes, I give most of jewelry weird names.)

I couldn't take a full length photo of the necklaces being worn, because the black sweatshirt messed with the camera settings and washed out the pearls.
