Paua Pearl Ring

Seventeen years ago, I lost a diamond from my (fairly ordinary) engagement ring. Since then, it had been tucked away in the jewellery box, waiting for some attention. With my 25th wedding anniversary this month, I decided to ask a local goldsmith, Nicola Ann Harwood, to re-model with a small paua pearl I'd acquired from New Zealand Natural Pearl a couple of years ago on a visit to Oakura.

It may be a small pearl, but I'm delighted with the result, so thought I'd show it off - something a bit different. Gazing at everyone else's photos here has frequently been my antidote to stress!
