I wanted to share the beauty of these magical Tahitians with all you Josh/Kamoka fans. They have such a strong peacock overtone, I find myself constantly taking them off at work to gaze at them and they never fail to take me to a happy place. :)

What I love so much about these studs is the glowing iridescence on the exterior of the pearls and then the ever-changing purple, silver, and pink colors in the center. Thanks Wendy for prompt and safe shipping/packaging! I love the fact that these studs were at the Stonehenge! :D

They are the same size although the pics show one pearl appearing larger than the other. Also, I tried to wipe them with soft fabric before their photo shoot but all this dust seemed to get attracted to them.

This is infinitely preferable to the necklace-gazing habit I've acquired, which to bystanders must appear to be an unfortunate fascination with my own bosom. :)

:D:D
Which is precisely why I prefer ropes .........:D

Wendy,
Those earrings are stunning.
Thanks for posting the pics. Jiazzi.

Just what one would look out for when the description says: Bodycolour dark with peacock overtones!

Lovely!

Hi all, I haven't been around much lately (health issues etc..) but I am back to comment on such lovely pearls. They are quite stunning, with a fish eye reflection I remember from someone (Cortez Pearls?) that are supposed to be a very desirable effect from high pearl luster.

LOL. Cracked me up!!! :) So, when I eventually buy pearls I better buy a ring - would be easier to stare at.

Jiazzi,
The pearls are gorgeous. If you don't mind me asking - what size are the pearls?

Cheers,
ShashiRatna

Thank you for your kind words!

LMAO! I wait for the day when I have a full Tahitian strand where I can look down and have bystanders misinterpret what I'm looking at!

Hi SashiRatna. I don't mind at all! I wish I had the exact specs with me somewhere (maybe Wendy will be able to help me out) but I know they are about 11mm. They are HUGE and eclipse my 8.5mm FW pearl studs. The matching was very well done too. :)

I take no credit for the matching - all down to the skill of Mr Humbert. I've not got the exact measurement any more ( website deletes when there is a sale of a unique item)

I checked the size of the pearls based on a scale in "Stringing" magazine. I was mistaken - they are between 9.5mm and 10mm, not 11mm as I stated earlier.

I'd need to acquire longer pearls or a longer neck for that! But those pearls are gorgeous, like all Josh pearls. Happy wearing.
