Are these freshwater pearls?

I'm sorry, I do not know much about the history. I purchased these from a little antique store who originally thought the were naturals. I know these aren't naturals and ended up not paying a lot for these. I like the baroque shapes and the colors of them. The strand is about 35 inches long and with the larger ones measuring 16MM or so. Thank you ~d

Freshwater keishi, natural colours, probably only a few years old - before that they would probably have been dyed.
like these in shape - p_6-7_keishi_lavender_to_beige_hk_1661.jpg

Funny, I was thinking keshi myself. The flattened, asymmetrical shapes, size and colors all remind me strongly of keshi pearls

Those look like freshwater keshis to me, too, in natural colors. What a fun strand!
