Many thanks again to everyone at PP. We had the most wonderful day, filled with beautiful pearls and pearly friendship.:giggle:

I'm curious about the bead nucleated FW strands-- are they a cool white, or do they tend toward a warmer white, like so many other FWP I own? I prefer cooler whites.

I only took a comparison snapshot and didn’t look closely at the strands as I was focused on sorting through other pearls. From what I could see with the comparison strands, the bead nucleated strands were a cooler tone. I’m sure there’s a range-

They do look very nice!

Back before I was actually buying pearls, I always had a round, straight-size akoya strand on my wish list. The funny thing is that with all the pearls I've bought over the years (and I love them all!), a round akoya strand is the one thing I have never sprung for.

At this point I think I missed my affordability window for the akoyas. But a bead nuked FWP strand, if the luster is good and the tone is cool, may fit the bill someday. I think these will be very popular.

Thanks for all the photos JEG. It's probably good I wasn't there. My wallet couldn't handle it, hahaha. But I did miss seeing you all again in person.

Yeah, the round Akoya were one of the later pearl types I added to my collection. Even having them, I was so tempted by the beautiful Akoya strands that were from Christina Assael’s private collection. So beautiful, but I know you like bigger pearls, so $$$.

Gathering with all the pearl friends is so worth the trip! We missed seeing you in person, too, BWeaves!
