Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Lovely!!!!

I just purchased those little h emerald and tiny pearl geode earrings. I definitely want to see them in person.

Today it was BBAs all the way. The photos don't capture all the soap bubble goodness these pearls display.

Tiny blue baroque akoya rope from Hisano at Pearl Paradise. Round BBAs from Pearls of Joy, bought at my first Ruckus at the white house. Vietnamese BBAs from PP, linked to them to make a longer rope. Dyed drop earrings with white topaz hoops from Kojima. Spring Rain pendant from Kojima. Peacock Tahitian yellow gold ring from Kamoka. And Sea of Cortez pearl from Douglas in a PP pink gold Frost setting. I think that covers almost everyone.

The 4th photo down is the closest I could get to showing the colors of these pearls.
And yes, my SoC ring really is that intense in color. What does Douglas call it? Erotochromatic? Erectochromatic?

The colors are just amazing!

Today I am wearing some semi-baroque white Edisons I strung with onyx beads. I really like the juxtaposition of black and white and wanted a black and white strand. Sorry for the bad pic. Still doing things left handed, lol.

Thank you Douglas, BWeaves and CatMom! I agree CatMom, I do love the multi-colored strands.

Beautiful soap bubbly blues, BWeaves! And of course, the rings!!

What a fun rope of black and white, CatMom! It looks great, and I hope your other hand is on the quick mend so you can get back to more pearly projects.

Vintage coral from Kojima, a Tahitian pendant from Hawaii, and Tahitian keshi I added to earrings from a San Francisco metal artist.

Gorgeous jeg!

Thank you CatMom, Steve and Douglas! Sometimes half the fun is in putting random pieces together.:D

Golden SS pendant from Katbran, Baggins Akoya wave necklace, multi-colored Akoya bracelet from Takahashi, and a mixed Akoya necklace I put together with pearls from Druzy.

So many FANTASTIC pearls these past 2 weeks, jeg, BWeaves, CatMom, lary007 and CathyKeshi, wow! Such a treat to catch up!

Jeg, what a lovely playdate - you all look so gorgeous and happy. BWeaves, your emerald little h pieces are tdf so I am certainly casting my vote for any additions you are contemplating. CathyKeshi, the colors in your kasumi collection are amazing! Douglas, what an incredible ring for the eclipse!

Feeling very fortunate to have been in Kona for a few days. Wire wrapped tiny Collins Ts and SoC studs. I tried to get an "ocean action" shot, but my camera wasn't too cooperative!

We are still in a haze of Kasumi ANTICIPATION here ... planning out what to wear for Wednesday ... and a new model seemed in order! Kasumi keshi rope and Kasumi Ombre rope on new baby Percy; who's now been given his middle name of honor by our own Kasumi queen Sarah ... Percy Pearl :)

JEG, SurfnSci, Cathy, gorgeous pieces. Percy Pearl makes those pearls look HUGE.

Thanks SurfnSci and BWeaves!

Oh, SurfnSci, I haven’t been to the Big Island in a few years- how fun! I’m a huge fan of Alex’s tiny T‘s. Gorgeous! As well as your SOC…

Cathy, Percy Pearl is “Perky” Percy Pearl. Just look at those ears! He is always on high alert. Soooo adorable!

I always admire your pearls, but I'm just salivating over the coral necklace. It screams vintage, because finding good quality coral becomes more difficult every year.

Oh, thank you, pearlgirl12! I just love all the vintage pieces I have from Kojima/Pacific Pearls. You just never know what might surface from their archives. Here’s another coral piece that Sarah put together while in their Hong Kong office several years ago. Worn with a baroque blue Akoya necklace from Takahashi, and earrings I bought at a glass workshop in Japan and added blue Akoya to.

Blue pearls get me every time!

Love blue pearls.

Today it was jeans and a T-shirt and Kamoka pearls. My favorite black and white studs worn with a carved pendant. The nacre on this pendant is so thick. It doesn't really show in the photo, but there's a beautiful dark mother of pearl look to the nacre.
