Pastel Tahitians

Thank you all for chipping in your thoughts. I appreciate all your input.
I have decided to get the necklace. Have contacted the vendor. If nothing goes wrong i should get it early august. Will update all.
Thank u again. I love this community.

kalmen22 - I know you'll love your new strand! The colors are amazing and definitely different from your other strands.

Pkinnew thank u. You have great eyes for pearls so I know i can't go wrong with your approval :)

kalmen22, I also think all 3 strands are completely different, and yet I LOVE the way all 3 of these should play very well together! Congratulations :)

Amti I just adore those Tahitian keshi mixed with the Tahitians ... a really beautiful look !

Kalmen I am so glad you decided to get that beautiful new strand. I don't subscribe to the theory that strands have to be totally different to be added to a collection. I go with if I love the strand then it should be added. I guess that's how I ended up with 19 strands. I have 3 tin cups with chain between, 3 ropes (I count as one strand even though they all took at least two strands to make them) 2 wire wrapped 2 with aqua beads and the rest are just strands. Bright green, dark green, pistachio and 2 matching light green so would I not have any of those? Absolutely not and they are all greens. Three different silver strands and two silver tone ropes. How about 2 multi-color tin cups and one multi-colored strand or what about two TDF peacocks one rope and one tin cup. You can probably see where this is going but just buy what you love and you won't regret it.

You strands are beautiful and enjoy wearing all of them :)

I'd say the strands are different- just look at the differences in color. Tahitians vary so much it is easy to find a lot you'll love. I am glad you are buying the necklace, esp being such a good deal. You can always go for the layered look too!

Thank you for the compliments on my necklaces. The keshi are purchases from a year ago, from Jac (the $89 ones) and ebay. At the time I bought them, I had no idea what I was going to do with them other than I loved them. The clasps are from etsy: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1060324380 I spent months looking for a ring or infinity clasp that was simple and versatile and this one caught my eye. These hold on tight and work so well I am thinking of buying a few more so all my necklaces have the same clasp.

Cathy, Amti and Newberry Thank you and I am excited I'm getting it.

Amti, tried the etsy link but couldn't get in. Had an error message. If you would please add the link again. I've been looking for clasps just like the one u have.

Keshi are so interesting. And I like how you interspersed it in your necklace.

Newberry, I think what you said about buying what you love. I found myself staring at the photos of the strand throughout the day... and knew I was a goner. And like what Purr said earlier. I can make it into one that is similar to your summer/winter piece.

Amti for some strange reason the link doesn't work for me. Do you mind sharing the sellers name? I'll go and check. Thank you

Oh no, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong... the seller is beadsmaker and look for "infinity clasp fold over buckle". Hope you find it!

Amti thank you! And you wouldn't belive it, I came across. Them a couple of days ago and thought those clasp look like what you used. And ordered already. Can't wait to use them when they get here. Thanks for sharing.

Oh good! I hope you like them! And yw, Purr! :)

I just finished a pastel Tahitian strand and photographed it next to some other pastels...I just love the colors of all these pearls! I made the strand for someone else, but the pearls are so so pretty, I'm kind of having a difficult time saying goodbye! IMG_3833 (1).jpg

Those are beautiful! Gorgeous pearls, and I love the pops of color from the gemstone connectors.

All so lovely!! I especially love the gemstone station chains...you were the inspiration for my pastel rope!!!!!
Many thanks!!!!
