I keep eyeing the feather necklace on Kojima. Finger must not slip. There's also a new harvest strand on Kamoka that caught my eye.

Today I'm wearing some peachy/pinky/lavendar freshwaters. I like to think of them as my spring/summer pearls even though we have a freeze warning and are still in sweaters here, lol. It's currently 39 degrees out!

You look very summery/springy even though your weather isn’t cooperating. Of course my attention went to your cowrie coaster.

These are vintage Akoya from Japan that belonged to my mom. One of my mom’s aunts gave her a long rope of Akoya. I remember a long time ago, she had it split and made into two shorter strands. She gave the other strand to my sister and this was the one she wore all the time. It really needs to be re-knotted and cleaned, but I’ve been too lazy to get to it.

Catmom: Really pretty freshwaters. My mother always had summer jewelry and winter jewelry. Some pieces just work better with summer clothing and some with winter clothing. Be it color, or style, or how hot or cool the necklace felt around the neck.

Thanks Jeremy and BWeaves. They are still quite wearable. I caved and re-knotted it, although it draped better with the loose knots.BWeaves, the earrings were also from Japan. The findings are interesting. A mix of delicate with a little edge, but light and easy to wear. I have a picture somewhere of my mom wearing them together, and probably more than that.

Well, I made a huge mistake and bought my first Kamoka pearl. It puts everything else I have to shame. I have a feeling I'm going to be going far, far down this rabbit hole. When I saw this ring, the color of the pearl just grabbed me but IRL it's the luster that does the grabbing. My pictures don't do it any justice at all. Plus the people from Kamoka are wonderful. I will have to do a Tahitian family photo shoot sometime.

What a stunning ring. It seems to change color with the different lighting, as Tahitians do. Setting is really nice too.

It really does. Sometimes it's a cherry pink, other times very green. Kamoka describes it as having a bright cherry pink body with a flash of gold and blue to the center and an intense green glow. It's almost a perfect match to my watch.

I’m not sure if there are videos or pics somewhere here from their sustainable pearl farm. Josh is an excellent photographer- National Geographic photographer. LOL, thank you! I loved the personal note from the diver Ben. I don't think my hubby is very happy about this latest obsession although it does give him something new to give me other than opals. I absolutely love your earrings. They are so gorgeous.

Here's The Queen worn with my Mikimoto yellow gold Huggies. I was in line at the post office this morning and got several compliments on my necklace. This pearl really is an eye catcher.

I'm still waiting on my new Kamoka pendant. I ordered some chains, and I think that is the hold up. Celeste is waiting on the chains to arrive at Kamoka.
