Jewelmer Store Stuffs

GemGeek, as gorgeous as the golden Jewelmer offerings are, that drop pearl is the the MOST beautiful!!! Thanks for posting the photo.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! Very much appreciated.

MSC, the pricing in the Philippines should be lower than most Western countries because of differences in tax for luxury items. Their pearls are of retail prices but the luster is incomparable and the deep color guaranteed natural. Jewelmer also prices their products in US Dollars even at local stores due to target market, but can convert to the exchange rate of the local currency.

Thanks also, GemGeek for sharing your pendant. :) nice shape. Is it the lighting or is the pearl champagne. On both ends and turns white in the middle?

It's evenly champagne with different shades of delicate pink, blue and green overtones. The lighting washes out the center. They were pretty proud of it. Matching it would be a nightmare, methinks!

Perlas...those photos took my breath away !! Such spectacular pearls! Absolutely beautiful strands..and the colours !! Lordy! PD made a good point..which one is harder to find...I'd go with the pendant but it's hard...all that money on one pearl when you can get a strand. sigh such problems we pearly folks face ! I love your bracelet as well !!

GemGeek - Good Lord that is a spectacular pearl ! Astonishing colours... Your right about matching ..be impossible!!

Here is the strand under consideration. It is also hard to find because it's in deep gold. Deep gold is currently only 3% of Jewelmer's harvest according to the salesperson so even the strand is hard to come by. More so, it also got orient of green and a bit of pink and orient is quite difficult to find in GSSPs.

I threw in a photo of a 10mm button deep golden keshi in a bracelet for fun!

I eventually got the strand. :) thank you for the thoughts, ladies. I would have gotten the pendant but when I took a second look at the strand and saw it has orient too, I took it as generally, orient is hard to find in GSSPs, much more in deep gold.

Thanks again for helping me out with my purchase. :)

Hey Perlas! As I was reading your post #29, I was stunned by how stunning (terrible pun) the strand is. The shape is organic, the color luster and orient are just absolutely amazing!!! Before I scrolled down to #30, I was thinking to myself I hope she got the strand, I hope she got the strand! I am SO GLAD you got the strand! Please post OODLES of pictures & neckshots!!!!!

Purranha, it was a tough choice as you can see! I'll post shots tomorrow. :)

So so gorgeous! I'm glad you got the strand. Pls take n post lots of photos for us. It's such a treat to see your photos and you take such great pics.

Is typhoon Haiyan still having an effect on pearl production? I thought that one reason why gssp prices have gone up could be because the typhoon wiped out some farms n impacted the oysters... Just my speculation.

The climate change is evident in the Philippines. It is definitely hotter during summer months and the seas warmer than usual. The typhoons hitting the country is stronger these past few years. Haiyan did hit the Jewelmer farms but the Philippines have several typhoons every year. Other farms should be taking a hit when typhoons are strong and when typhoon hits a farm, it can wipe the entire farm.

I'm glad you got the strand too. I love the symmetry of the ringed shapes (it's hard to find ones that symmetrical in baroque ringed pearls - I've been eyeing a LOT of similar strands in WSS and have noticed this) and the combo of deep gold body colour and those overtones/orient is rare and stunning!

Your strand is gorgeous! Lots of neck shots please. I really love my dark gold strand it's just so special to look at. I bet you will feel the same way about yours. Enjoy your new beauty.

Perlas, your new strand is just stunning! Orient trumps everything else :) Congratulations !!!
