DAY 46:

Today -- a nod to Cathy. Metallic drop pinks (hers are gorgeous and lead to my buying these) twisted with baroque silver/blue akoya. It's holiday season and this reminds me of a pearl wreath.

Happy Thanksgiving ! I almost forgot about it...searched 5 butchers and grocery stores for a turkey or turkey product... I found turkey necks..and turkey legs......so we are having Ham So we are tossing together a Thanksgiving dinner for 4 carnivores and 2 Vegans (Tofurky) .. two desserts .. pumpkin pie and a bowl of mixed berries ... and a ton of vegetables. All gathered and put together in 4 hours. whew ! Thank God everyone drinks Champagne!

I absolutely love this thread! You have so many beautiful and artistic pieces and I love that you actually mix it up day to day. I often find myself reaching for the same pieces over and over again.

That is one of the reasons I started this thread. I also tend to reach for the same pieces -- this has allowed "equal time" for every piece and I'm enjoying rotating through them and experiencing what drew me to buying certain pieces in the first place. For example, I rarely wear my CC stick pearls -- but they are amazing and they STAY PRECISELY IN PLACE all day. How cool is that? And the metallic/citrine set is so pretty.

If it weren't for this thread -- I'd be wearing my revamped hanadama set, madama set, triple necklaces, and little H pieces much more often. But I still do when you aren't looking (i.e. non-teaching days)!

I haven't been posting pictures of the rings I wear -- I really love my pearl rings too, of course. Maybe I'll add a shot of them now and then...
