Okay, I know that it isn't politically correct or right to use fur, but I can't help but love this outrageous ring.

It puts me in mind of Doris Day in That Touch of Mink. Apparently, that means that I am too old to know what sexy message rings are - LOL!

What a lovely way to keep your pearl warm!
ps I loved that movie :)

Haha. They remind me of those heeled slippers one associates with luxe old Hollywood dressing tables and glam hair waves. The look is really coming together in my mind now...

Too Right! Oddly enough, I'd rock that ring all over the city, but the bracelet could stay at home. I guess I have an odd sense of fashion

Don't get them wet!

DK :D

Actually, the ring reminded me of Hisano's felted wool jewelry when I first saw it. Hisano's wool pieces are dreamy. :)

Very interesting! Definitely need to stay out of the rain with that one!

Actually I don't think that would be a problem. I've had a couple of vintage minks and they were amazing for the cold winter rain here in Denmark. Not a drop got through and they dried up perfectly. Only smelled a little of wet dog while still wet but that may be because they were old :)

Personally, I'd prefer a felted gray wool ring with a cool pearl, Hisano-style! A little rain wouldn't hurt it at all!

Does anyone have any photos of her felted pearl pieces? I want to see!

That ring is a bit outrageous, but I would have fun wearing it!

Thank you Andrea, those rings are beautiful! I would definitely wear those!

If you google Hisano Takei you'll be able to see more photos, although there are some other fiber artists included in this collage.

Hisano's art is amazing!

Thanks Pattye  The google search brought pictures of her fiber art interspersed with pictures from her "little h" collection, what a feast for the eyes! ITA her art is amazing. I also thought I remembered seeing a felted wool and pearl bracelet she made for her wedding and found it on the PP blog here in case anyone missed it: http://blog.pearlparadise.com/2013/08/felt-and-pearls-at-the-wedding/ It is SO pretty!
