Wow, Steve, that is quite the project!! We took so many different means of transportation from buffalo cart, tractor trailer, Grab cars, planes, ferry, cruise boat, motorcycles, rickshaw, dragon boat, lantern boat, and a bunch of different row boats including my favorite- the round bowl shaped coconut boats. But we missed the cable cars!!

Sliding into the underground network of Cu Chi Tunnels with my Kojima Tahitian studs.

And back home with a blue baroque Akoya strand from Takahashi, SS keshi studs from a PP/Takahashi live event, and tin cup and earring jackets I made with loose Akoya from Takahashi.

OOOOh wow. JEG, is that stacked necklace heavy? Asking for a friend ;)

I'm fully Kojima chested today. Beachy Tin-Cup. This necklace gets way more wear than I thought it would. It's just the right amount of funky summer style. The Devine Sarah pendant. Summer Rainbow and Winter Snowman pendants on my own diamond hoops.

Hi I have some very rare pearls that I believe to be very rare and when I look up up on the Internet they say there were 38,000 each I would like your opinion I'm going to send you some pictures of them and maybe you can get back to me on them that would be awesome if you're interested in buying them I am they're up for sale too I just need your opinion and professionaneed on them thank you I'll send the pictures soon
 
Thanks so much, CatMom! I was able to scoot through the tunnels and keep up with the tunnel guide with no problem, but most of my friends had a difficult time maneuvering the tight spaces and it took them quite a while to surface. Visions of Winnie the Pooh stuck in Rabbit’s hole. They were pretty miserable, but we had the best laugh debriefing over coconut coffee at one of the many Cong Ca Phe’s afterwards.

Haha! Yes, Red, the pearl that somehow clinged to my coat and was fortunately found. It’s a really pretty pearl.

Two SS and Tahitian ombre necklaces from Kojima with earrings I made with Tahitians and Myanmar golden SS. And something new! I love this cool, edgy bracelet from Kojima. It’s super lightweight. Sarah thought the discs might be ebony wood. Combined with vintage Akoya.:giggle:

So many pretty pieces, Jeg ... the pearl that followed Jeg home :) ... that lovely golden south sea and mixed blue and white akoyas ... what a treat to see. And the new bracelet is so cool; the ebony wood pieces bookend the lustrous vintage akoyas so beautifully!

BWeaves, LOVE seeing my favorite "Beachy" rope again; one of my "got away's" and I'm so glad you have it.

Walter and I leave May 9 for CA, ready for some sunshine and waves. Grandson is joining us for 5 days; he's 17, and his first trip to CA. Once he leaves, we head to Pearls By the Bay fun!

Starting a new chapter… Introducing the new Bunny and Traveling Pearl. I had a difficult time deciding on a Traveling Pearl. It had to be a PP pearl because Jeremy coined the Traveling Pearl, but I couldn’t decide whether or not to go with another Tahitian. Bunny is currently wearing an early Edison pearl from PP. Looking forward the first trip- we’ll see you at Pearls By The Bay next week!

My son had a Mother’s Day drop in at his preschool, and nothing says Mother’s Day to me more than some dainty white akoyas. 7.5mm akoya studs and a cute little triple akoya floater.

A more casual bracelet situation, keeping the black and white theme with a baroque freshies knotted bracelet and a couple of hammered bangles with Tahitians.

Edit to say: I was not driving! I was parked, but I find my car often has the best lighting for photographing pearls, and it’s one of the only times I’m actually sitting down long enough to snap a photo 🤣

Happy Mother’s Day! I’m wearing a shirt my mom made for herself. She made a matching shirt for me, and you can see my sister running in the background with her matching shirt and wide cuffed jeans. I have the “pearl” hairclip I’m wearing somewhere in the house, but where…
A strand of vintage Akoya from Fuji, layered with a golden Akoya strand from Takahashi. My sister inherited my mom’s pearls or I would be wearing them.

Okay — deep breath; I’m going to post my first photos of a necklace. This is a south sea harvest strand I commissioned from Cees about 2 months ago. On my neck I’m wearing it doubled. It also comes apart into 2 strands when I want to wear it shorter.
