pearls and hats

Pearls and hats can be great friends.

I sometimes have a hard time finding earrings that play well with a hat without shouting over it (and at the same time not being lost themselves). Yet another scenario where pearls are a great answer. I especially like the idea of contrast, like pearls and a baseball cap or pearls and a beanie. Then OF COURSE pearls and a cloche.



These are the 6-7mm pearl studs - love this demure size!

If I looked that good in a hat I probably would But my family start a laughing fit every time I try something on my head.

Oh, and here you go. I do have a couple of cloche hats but they are more for winter, no? Hard to see the earrings, but they are 9mm pale lavender buttons with blue overtones.

I don't have a lavender pair but I kind of want some...

Yes, a cloche for the cold, though it's never too early to start thinking about them. I'm still trying to find the right one, so they are on my mind...
