My pearls

Very pretty. I like the combination of the cool toned one with the big blue strand.

Some stretch bracelets. I have quite the collection now. First some 8-9mm circled tahitians. Blue and aqua pearls with a blue azurite skull.

Love these colors.

Greenish tahitians with a carved african turquoise jasper skull.

Peacock tahitians an a lilac phosphosiderite skull.
_20201024_144226.jpg
All three.
_20201024_144026.jpg
Then my three golden south sea ripple bracelets. The south sea pearls are from Pearlescence. One agatized fossil coral skull and two carved indonesian orange yellow calcite jade beads.

Ombre tahitian and south sea rope are no more. I took all of the circled pearls to add to the three strands of circled pearls that I bought. I used many of the remaining pearls in these two bracelets. They might be my favorite ones. Ombre green to silver tahitian through south sea bracelet and a silver drop tahitian bracelet. Most of the drop tahitians are from Cees. Both with carved red jasper, one skull and one scarab.

I still have a nephrite jade skull and a red jasper skull. The apricot trumpet shell skull and beads are currently in a peachy rope. But I don't really like it.

It's not my color really, the carved beads are amazing. I could make stretch bracelets out of them I suppose. It's easier to wear colors not quite suited to ones complexion as bracelets.

I have made another transformer necklace. The first on is this lariat looking one. Not a real lariat, since the shorter "pendant" chain is attatched to the normal chain with some kind of hitch knot.
_20201024_142056.jpg
_20201024_142145.jpg
I can add whichever huggie pearl I want to the lobsterclasps. Like this baroque white south sea pearl and a purple edison pearl. The edison pearl is from Pearlescence.
_20201024_142121.jpg
Then I made a tassel like pendant. The "pendant" is attatched with a jumpring to the chain and is made up out of 5 different lenghts of silver chain, each with a lobsterclasp at the end. I am thinking about adding a bigger lobsterclasp so that the pendant is fully removable. As with the other transformer necklace I can change the pearls easily.

Thank you Bweaves and Pattye. I really like that transformer tassel as well.

Some combinations that I have been wearing lately. Yesterday I combined my ombre tahitian rope from Cees with my mismatched green tahitian studs from OceansRhyme .

And the drop tahitian and blue akoya rope with the same mismatched tahitian studs from Oceanscove. Very useful those studs.

There were more but I don't really remembed them all. Today I am wearing my rainbow strand from Pearlescence with my deep golden south sea studs from Pearlescence. I miss when Wendy finds me pearls in Hongkong and the photos she sends me to choose from. Darn pandemic. I do want a rainbow bracelet. I should not complain. I am not sick (except for the asthma) and I have a job that I like and I love spending time with not-husband (don't see anyone else except for work) and the cats find all mice that wanders in for me (...always at night...)
_20200705_141232.jpg
Love that strand.

I have been making more stretch bracelets, no photos of them yet. Another tahitian and red jasper skull bracelet, another golden south sea bracelet with a carved nephrite jade skull and then I remade a nibung palm wood bracelet with a carved red jasper scarab from augustus-collection. It was perfectly fine that palm wood bracelet, except for it being to big. Well, does one measure the inside of a bracelet? I measure mine like I would a strand. It's fine now, luckily it's easy to make stretch bracelets. Next time I will buy a smaller one.
I have some more photos of my transformer necklaces. They do look great with tahitian ropes and are so fun changing.

I would imagine this being difficult to make. If I hadn't one already I would try. I mean where to start. When I make ombre strands they sort of just happen, usually with a lot less colors.
_20201101_214122.jpg
Breathtaking really. I have been thinking about what to make next. Usually I just stumble upon projects, I wake up with an idea or see some color combination in nature that I want to recreate. Right now I have a green tahitian strand on my wishlist. Lots of different green tones and maybe a white or cream tahitian to lighten it up. I don't really have to make it myself, but I haven't found it yet either. Then I also want a mixed south sea strand, I know again. Well I made ombre strands out of all those circled south sea pearls...and then I added the peacock tahitians to the south sea layout and made the mixed strand. It would be lovely to pick the pearls out myself, but that woun't happen anytime soon. One can dream. Zoompearlpicking, that would be fun.

Thanks for posting your ombre strand again. One of my all time favorite, Charlotta.

Charlotta, I don’t think anyone enjoys playing with, and rearranging their pearls more than you!! It’s good to have that entertainment during these stay at home times.

Thank you lisa c, Marianne and Jeg. I do love to play with my pearls, it's such a comfort. Especially now, as you put it Jeg, I do meet a lot of people at work, but otherwise only not-husband and the cats. As I work in a field that is declared neccessary it's is stressful trying to keep a distance at all times. People still forgets, especially the elderly that aren't suppose to go anywhere except for walks. I haven't gotten sick yet so there's that. I do miss spending time with people, especially the children. But we all have to try being cheerful and positive. I amuse myself with my pearls, books, flowers, cooking and baking (got a new crockpot in the mail) and telling not-husband wierd stories about what the cats "tells" me (a vivid imagination do help) until he laughs. They have quite the conversation the cats sometimes, haha.
Marianne, I love that ombre rope. I still remember the day I got it in the mail. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was so mugh prettier in real life than it was in the photos Cees sent me. I had to string it right away, forgetting that I was suppose to pack for a weekend in the summercabin. Not-husband often says that I forget everything when I string, remake or create my pearls. It's true, sometimes I forget to make dinner and four hours has disappeared.
Hugs to you lisa c.

Dreadful weather today, but very good for pearl photography. Yesterday I was wearing my big tahitian strand from Cees with some blueish grey tahitians huggies (pearls from Pearlsociety and huggies from Pearlescence). It's the same strand that I bought as two bracelets and then remade into a strand. Cees says that they were a strand before being bracelets as well. It's a beautiful strand with rather muted colors.
_20201107_135653.jpg
The strand is also pretty with my blue south sea studs from Pearlescence.
_20201107_135842.jpg
And with the blue south sea pendant from Pearlescence.

There are some gorgeous pearls in this strand.

Today I have been wearing my south sea frog pendant from Pearlsociety, my copper green tahitians earrings from Cees and my ombre vintage akoya and deep golden south sea waverope and wavestrand. I made the rope and strand with a strand of 8mm deep golden south sea pearls from Cees and a double strand of vintage akoyas.

I have also been wearing my stretch bracelets. Yesterday two tahitian bracelets with red jasper beads and one ombre tahitian and south sea and red jasper bead bracelet.

Today I am wearing my two golden south sea bracelets with calcite jade beads.

Ohh Charlotta that ombre necklace from Cees!!!! And the SS ombre!!! And the wave rope!!!! What a feast for eyes! So so beautiful!!!

Thank you eolian pearls, I really like how that wavestrand and waverope turned out. I use the pearls much more now. It was a beautiful deep golden south sea strand, but being around 8mm rather small. I bought a bigger deep golden south sea strand last year from Cees. Those smaller deep golden south sea pearls are gorgeous though, I used some in my mixed south sea and tahitian strand as well.

I made some new stretch bracelets as well. Another tahitian drop and red jasper skull bracelet. The tahitian drop pearls are mostly from Cees.
_20201107_135208.jpg
I also made another golden south sea sea bracelet, with the green nephrite jade skull. The south sea pearls are from Pearlescence.
_20201107_135053.jpg
And I remade a nibung palm wood bracelet with a carved red jasper scarab and two vermeil beads from augustus-collection, it was to big.
_20201107_134908.jpg
So now I have one wood bracelet, three circled tahitian bracelets
_20201107_135523.jpg
Four golden south sea bracelets

two tahitian bracelets and one tahitian and south sea ombre bracelet.

Next week I am thinking about wearing my golden south sea pearls and my golden akoyas, I have been wearing a lot of tahitians and mixed pearls lately. The golden south sea pearls have been neglected mostly. I haven't been wearing my tassels either. So tomorrow and today I will be wearing my 8mm deep golden south sea studs from Oceanscove, my champagne south sea enhancer from Pearlsociety and one of my vintage tassels, the one with a golden birdcage, that would be Mary, on an ivory freshwater rope from Pearllunar.
_20201108_124356.jpg
_20201108_124328.jpg
I might be using the champagne south sea enhancer with a shorter ivory freshwater strand tomorrow instead of my grandmothers gold chain.
_20201108_124504.jpg
I will probably be using these two golden south sea bracelet with carved calcite jade beads all week. The golden south sea pearls in these ones are from Pearlescence.
_20201108_125532.jpg
If the photos look a bit cold it's only because I experimented with the wierd lighting this morning. There was a mist that took the sun hours to burn of, making the light look blurry.

Thank you SurfnSci, that tassel was namned Mary with some help from Bweaves. I have made three tassels (Mary, Alexandra and Victoria) out of vintage akoya strands, one graduated strand is usually enough for a tassel. I have also made a tahitian tassel (Isabella) out of tahitian keshis and tahitian drop pearls. I have written a description of how to make one somewhere, it could be in my akoya tread. It would make a great present for someone special.
