Fiji Pearls

Love those two bracelets...of course my brain goes immediately to orbits...hmmm....what else can you connect them to?

Thank you, JerseyPearl. I like the orbits on my bracelets because they are easier to handle than fishhooks or lobster clasps. One thing I know for sure, you will never see me hooking them together to make a choker. I am so not a choker girl.

Thank you, Jacques.

Thank you so much, Jeremy. You and Hisano are the best.

Thank you so much battah, Purranha, and CathyKeshi.

Cathy - There was a big bag of pearls on the cart at PP with your name on it. Looking forward to seeing your projects in action.

newberry - Your strands of white Tahitians are done and look amazing. Jeremy MADE me try them on, and that is when I can really see the gold and blue overtones pop. You are a most amazing Pearl Queen.

I'm sooo glad you saw them and tried them on. Jeremy has amazing pearls and it is easy to be a pearl queen when you are wearing his pearls ;)

I am so jealous i missed the party yesterday. Your new bracelets look gorgeous, Red!

Orbit clasps rule!!

I never thought about wearing chokers, but after I realized both my bracelets fit round my neck I became a choker girl. Although, more often than not, I do reach for my ropes!

Yesterday I wore it with my new blue/green Tahitian strand.

LMG, your new strand is stunning, as is your Fiji bracelet choker. I love the Orbit clasps too.

Thank you KaySD and Newberry!!

Perhaps another PP reunion is on the horizon... !!??

OH i cannot tell you guys how much i love this thread!

RED I TOTALLY KNOW THAT BLUE-WHITE PEARL, we became best friends at the ruckus. :) if you can't wear 2 as a choker, then i definitely think you need a third.

I love the bracelets, all y'all! such Fiji loveliness.

November is coming...tickets in hand...the whole fam is practicing photo- and video-documentation this weekend...

How exciting. Juliebeth! I'm so envious... I know you'll have a wonderful time with your family in Fiji! Can't wait to see what baubles you'll return with! In the meantime, I've got another Fiji Pearl project in the works at PP...

Juliebeth - I know. That blue and white pearl just had to come home with me. I love being able to put it into the white Tahitian bracelet.
There were still a lot of Fiji pearls left, including two tones and lots of golden and brown toned pearls.

What a treat to see the new harvest in Fiji. Truly a trip of a lifetime.

Lmgarden - Are you working on a Fiji necklace? Perhaps a third Fiji bracelet so you have a choker and a bracelet set? Or, maybe a ring?

Red, my new project started out as a ring, but morphed into a necklace with garnets! I'm excited about it - it'll be quite different from my 2 bracelets/ necklace, but they'll all be interchangeable. I'll be sure to post once it's finished.

Looking forward to wrist shots of your bracelets!!!

Love your work guys.
So fascinating to see pics of our pearls on here - love what you guys have done.
Red that Fiji bracelet - 2nd one in, our left. That is one of the chocolate kisses I sent up.
They are unique - don't really even know how to set these. But I really love the those.
They have a certain funk of their own.

We start harvesting in the next week or so. Let the fun begin. Always get a little nervous about now.

Hopefully it will be beautiful and I will post along here:)

Oh, Justin, can't wait to see the new harvest photos! If any keshi are found lurking in there, be sure to get a snapshot of those for me :) Best luck!
