Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Thanks so much, PearlyLibrarian! It is like a dream to be able to play with so many fabulous pearls, not to mention pearl friends. I’m looking through the pics that Clint took and will post those in the “mini Ruckus 2025” thread as soon as I do a little sorting. Ahhh, the blue studs are beautiful! Studs are just so wearable. I love pearl studs!

Love everything BWeaves! Love the shark pieces, but not sharks in real life. For several years, shark week seemed to always happen on a week when I was in Hawaii. Just a little unsettling… although I’ve seen way more sharks when I’ve visited the Florida coast.

Wow, Syrie! That’s a serious neck-full of SS’s. They look gorgeous together.

I’m trying to behave right now because I just bought a new car last week, but I did manage to bring a couple goodies home from our PP visit. A pair of little h Tahitian and white diamond studs, and a bracelet length of mostly white Fiji keshi. I knotted the Fiji keshi into a bracelet, but it ended up being longer than I anticipated and I really wanted to use all the pearls, so I went with plan B and created a short length tin cup necklace. It would look great in white gold, but I rarely wear white metals so I stuck with my usual yellow.

I finished the necklace last night and wore it to brunch this morning with baroque blue studs from Takahashi and a Baggins Akoya wave rope from Hawaii.

JEG: I remember that Fijian bracelet strand and being mesmerized by the center pearl. I think it looks great as a tin-cup necklace. It really brings focus to those pearls.

I'm still working Shark Week. Prehistoric Time Traveler pendant with shark's tooth and mismatched (lavender and peacock) studs from Kamoka.

I added several more PP eye candy pics that were taken by Clint, the professional, to the mini Ruckus thread…

I worked from home today so my jewelry was casual. Fireball dangles. The necklace is a souffle pearl I got from Kojima that I ended up putting on a cheap chain. I tried to have it put on a 14k chain but the jeweler advised against it. Oh well . . .

The shark’s tooth is a fun piece, BWeaves!

Those pearls are statement pieces, Syrie! The chain is an easy fix if you choose to swap it out down the line.

A SS and Tahitian necklace from Kojima, and the large FW drop pendant is also from Kojima. I wrapped the station chain with SS keshi, and the earrings with Tahitians, SS keshi and vintage Biwa.

Happy weekend, everyone, and thank you for all of the gorgeous pearl eye candy this week, BWeaves, Lovelea, PearlyLibrarian, Syrie, and Jeg!

Jeg, the littleH diamond studs you chose look fabulous, and I LOVE that you made those fijis into a tin cup necklace. That was a lovely idea and it looks so pretty on you!

J. Hunter bracelet and ring (the latter's pearl found during a recent dream-come-true visit to the PP vault and mounted on their Pirouette setting ☺️)

Happy weekend, everyone!
BWeaves, what an amazing trio yesterday (and that's a great idea for using pendants as earring huggies!)
Lary007, those are fabulous goldens and the akoya pair really well with the GSS.
Syrie, what a gorgeous harvest strand, wow.
Pomelo, I use those ring spiral guards, too, and they are great :)
Jeg, love your mixed strands this week, and the lovely earring pairs you made!

Kasumi strand from Kojima today.

Those are absolutely delicious!

Wow! That souffle is amazing! It def. needs something more spectacular than that chain though!

Thank you, jeg, Shani and BWeaves!

BWeaves, your blues today are fabulous. Those tiny keshi are really something - that is such a pretty and creative necklace design (is it also from Takahashi like your lovely pendant?)

Jeg, thank you again so much; our new mortgage sadly kept me in line, but I'm still dreaming of those Assael akoya strands...

Kamoka-chested today. I've rearranged that necklace about 15 times. Going for a bit of the bubble necklace look now. (Bracelet moonlighting as an extender.)

SurfnSci: WOWZA! That Kamoka necklace and bracelet are stunning. They look fantastic hooked together. I love the bubble look where the pearls are different sizes.

What a great combination of blues, BWeaves!

Ahhh, the Kamoka’s are gorgeous, Surfnsci! I know what you mean about staying in line. :cautious: I just got a new car, so it’s taken a bite out of my pearl playing. At least it’s something I like, rather than a new roof or drains or some un-fun necessity.

Still enjoying my Fiji Keshi pearls, from the PP vault visit, as a choker necklace. Wore it for running errands this weekend with my Takahashi baroque studs. Super casual…

Jailhouse pearls. Yes, I do sometimes dress up when I’m going to the jail to see clients. The pastel Tahitian strand is a purchase from Cees. The earrings I bought on eBay about 4 years ago. I always assumed they were “just regular silver pearls,” i.e. blue akoyas when I knew nothing. Now I’m not sure of that and they may be Tahitians.

JEG: Love those Fijis.

Syrie: LOVE your Jailhouse pearls!!!!

Tahitians for me, too, today. Pastel Tahitians from PP. I got these at my last Ruckus. They were the only strand that looked remotely like this. Pistachio Tahitian studs from Kojima.
