Exotic Strands Are Coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see, the silver pearls are 8.5 - 9mm. One of my favorite sizes!

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! The findings came from Kimarie Designs - www.kimariedesigns.com and she does several shows. You can call the office and ask. Personally, I think the prettiest pearls of the exotics are those melon-colored ones that Pattye got, but they didn't quite go with the color of the gold.

Blaire, that was my little secret, LOL. They don't exactly have a metallic look, rather very translucent and glowing from within---I LOVE them, and need to send back to Jeremy to have drilled and mounted------------

What I really want is a set in every color, LOL------

If they weren't such an investment, I would have bought more, but now I have two sets of exotics, so no excuses! My excuse for the pinks was that the findings "needed" some pearls!

Even if I cannot get a strand (I have to save my money towards a very special bag I placed an order for some months ago- I didn't think that the order was accepted but it turned out that it most probably was...) I at least will get a pair of earrings (but the smallest size). I have been talking that much about these pearls so a friend of mine decided to get herself two strands and she added my earrings to her order to have it shipped in one package so that we both could save on the shipping cost.

I don't think so. It's 7:00 am CST and I haven't seen anything yet... I like the mystery of not knowing what time they'll "open." Makes it so exciting!

Hmmm also wish I didn't check out the PP site last night as I had no idea that FW exotic metallics were going to go on sale this very day. I've been so good about budgeting and so forth. I guess my black boots will just have to wait...

Well, I think it's extremely RUDE of Mr. Shepherd to not post the sale at 0001 East Coast time! Doesn't he know I have a flight to catch in a few hours and I want to check out his new additions?!!!!

I'm in Dubai right now and just tried on a 13-14mm 'Indonesian' pearl necklace at Mikura Pearls. (i didn't want to, but the clerk insisted. Not wanting to offend him and insult local customs, I reluctantly acquiesced....lol)

The quoted price was 434,000 dirhams, or about $188,000USD. Accckkkkkkkkk They were so big that they looked fake! Perhaps that's just my naivete and the low-rent crowd I hang out with

C'mon, PP, get those pearls out there! We can't wait. Cripes, it's worse than Christmas as a child....
