Wow. Looks like the biggest selection of types of pearls ever with Justin Hunter's and the pipi pearls!!!

On his website Justin Hunter has some striped pearls like i have never seen before! I recently found out that the Tahitian pearl mollusk of Fiji has a bright orange body, though it is technically the same mollusk as other Tahitians, the Pinctada margaritifera. Those are special pearls!

Those are graduated freshwater strands. I put my akoya strand next to them, and the color and luster are very close, at a fraction of the price.

No, sady mine is not Hanadama. The luster of the freshwater strands is similar to AAA akoya. FW are getting so good, I'm not sure it is worth buying akoya anymore unless you're going for Hanadama quality.
