Big Honking Pearls

So what I really want next year is a big honking strand of baroque FW pearls in shades of purple or pink.

Top photo is Yoko London; bottom is Pearl Paradise; middle might be PP too.

I so wanted to buy the purple and pink Edison strands from PP and wear them as a double, but budget would not allow. They were stunning in person. I would love to get baroques in the same colors.

Wow is that a baroque shaped pave clasp? awesome! Haha people please share links if anyone ever come across one like that!
 
Yes, I love the baroque clasp and diamond spacers. KGH has a selection of baroque clasps.

baby nurse -- just catching up on this thread. WOW!!! Thank you so much for the comparison photos! They are so educational and so very, very delicious! And yes, each and every one has its place and its differences. Some more nuanced than others and glorious to see in comparison.

Hi, I received my Edisons and they are quite like my south seas in my mixed rope, which I have shown for comparison. Some of my south seas in my mixed rope are the same, some of them are more silvery and glow more. I have also shown some earrings that I love that are very reflective south seas - I can clearly see the difference here, but then again, I didn't pay for south seas! The shapes of the Edisons are lovely. I will also show them compared to the giant ripples in the middle row that Kay mentioned above. I also have an Edison-like strand here of Catherine Cardellini's 'smooth ripples' in pinks, and another smaller smoothish ripple strand in whitish silver from Catherine in the second and third pictures.
Sorry I don't know how to make these the right way up.

Thank you! I got lucky a couple of times - it's definitely harder to get these beauties online when you're in a different time zone, but I love the purples. Neck shot below.image.jpg

Sorry Jeremy, I probably should have posted earlier than now but I don't post very often. But the Big Honking Pearls title of this thread and the photo of my strand really required some input!
I am a ripple nut and have quite a few but this strand is extraordinary, and the colours are perfect for me. You did a terrific job matching the pearls - so much purple and green, and the lustre is fabulous. It's very well loved!
And the big new Edisons are really lovely too - the shapes are divine and I genuinely can't tell the difference between what I have and many of my other white South Seas...
