My wife really likes pearls,so I also received knowledge from her, and also interested.
Recently, I bought an Atrina Pectinata for Sashimi because i was said it is difficult for normal consumer to buy at market because high class restaurants take it, so I wanted to try the taste.
When I opened it, inside of the shell was beautiful, and I found big blister!
I haven't known it can make such a thing.
I checked online, and it seems it very rare to have nice blister from it, so I wanted to share the picture with you!
on the picture, I couldn't take the nice gray peacock color though...
Please give me a comment!
