Who says Fresh Water cultured pearls are inferior to South Sea, Akoya or Tahiti's?

After searching through hundreds of bead- nucleated Fresh Water pearls I found a very nice 11.15 x 14.30 mm drop pearl.

Because the colors are so beautiful and the nice luster it is so difficult to make a good photo without this shadow in the middle but I did not want not to show this Hong Kong June Fair find.

It looks like a luscious Easter Egg. If this were my pearl, I would set it in a pendant with the point down, with an emerald crown set in rose gold...so it would look almost like a strawberry. It is a lovely pearl.
