South Sea Manado drop pearls

From a pearl farm near Manado in Sulawesi ( Celebes) I picked out of the harvest which just came in for an auction in Tokyo, Japan, these 2 high luster and clean drops. Matching drops is about the most difficult excersise I know. But these 2 are fine.11.85 mm approx.

Wow Cees you have done it again! Look at the surface on those pearls...so fine! Mirror like reflections! You did a brilliant job matching those! You are right about the drops - never fails ..you get the shape to match and the colour is off or you get the colour to match and the shape is a bit off... lol You got everything right!

Thanks all, it was pure luck that I walked in, there was a batch set aside already to be offered to Mikimoto and the lot of drops was not a lot, just pure luck that out of 30 pearls, 2 matched.
