Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Tanzanite and Tahitians are a combination I didn’t know I needed, these look fantastic!! 😍

I came here to post about a pearl and gemstone combination that I recently had made: 17mm pink FW, lab pink sapphire and set in 925 sterling silver. It’s a fun ring!

Wowee! I didn't realize how huge that pearl was until I saw the second pic. Very cool, now that is a statement piece!

My haul from PP's 3 day black friday event. I love them! Especially the earrings! (which for some reason resisted being in focus). Oh and my ombre Tahitians/SS from Na Hoku (pic was very early morning, no apologies lol). Just noticed that the earrings had some lint on them. oops! I didn't include my studs in the pics since they were setting on posts at the time. However, they too, are beautiful!

PS Now I am a long term resident of Ban Island....
Beautiful choices! I hear you on the Ban Island thing....of course, I keep paddling away from it whenever it gets boring. :)

Lovely as always! Thank you for all of your help! I went to view your IG post. It isn't working correctly. At least, I can't see it.
Good to know about my IG post. It seems like some people can see it and some can't. I'm even having a hard time seeing it. I don't know what the issue is.

BBAs today. There's nothing like the luster of BBAs. Let's see if this IG post works, because the luster looks so much better in motion.

And I tried to capture this one while following this person across the street. The colors got washed out, but she was wearing a knotted Tahitian bracelet and a tin cup bracelet with Tahitians and a heavy link chain. I didn’t catch what the bangle bracelet was.

beautiful pearls!
@Pomelo so curious about the story behind that ring! What type of pearl is it, and how is it possible for it to be that size? Is it common for that type of pearl, or is it rare? Super unique!

It’s my 10th wedding anniversary today, so please indulge me with a look back at my wedding pearls.

The strand necklace was my “something new” - a wedding gift from my husband, given that day. The studs were my “something old” - earrings given to me by my grandmother many years prior. The double strand bracelet was my “something borrowed” - my mom’s bracelet given to her by my dad the first Christmas after I was born.

Everything Bagel rope and 2 pendants worn on my own earring hoops, all from Kojima pearl. The long rope has every kind of pearl in it. Lot's of blue and pistachio baroque akoya pearls. White and golden South Sea pearls. 4 large, smooth pink and lavender freshwater Kasumi pearls. 4 nugget shaped Tahitian keshi from Kamoka Pearl. Winter Snowman and Summer Rainbow pendants on my earrings. All worn with a T-shirt and sweatpants, because pearls should not be saved for your formal clothes.

Time to restring my 22" strand of BBAs from Pearls of Joy. I should never have let them get this bad.
