Such pretty strands jeg

Amazing keshis eolian pearls and even more amazing, your Bliss strand. Maybe that aqua blue (not aqua blue) pearl would look more aqua next to some other blue pearls. I accidentally discovered a minty green tahitian in a pile of mixed tahitians. I had sorted it with some other grey tahitians. Probably from some ministrand...when I put them on a white plastic thinghy that secures the windows and prevents the escape of Kycklingen (the chicken, that would be my cat). Anyway that plastic thinghy on a white window sill really brings out the colors, when it's overcast that is. I use that plastic thinghy a lot. It has groves in it so the pearls doesn't fall of.
Kycklingen did indeed escape through the front door last week, but froze on the steps. No sun, no smallish birds. Only snow and wind. Too icky said Kycklingen and returned demanding treats. Someone has stolen the summer she said, and only the darn kitten as company during the day. She went to the cat doctor to not have kittens and what happens, she said. Shortly after she did indeed get a kitten, albeit not by herself. We bought a kitten she says. Darn kitten she says, almost three years old and still a kitten. But the head is small, the paws are small and the tail like that of a rat...only the middle section round. Has to be a kitten says Kycklingen...

Thank you all!!! Luminous is the right word for these keshis Douglas! Here is the promised neckshot, the keshis glow under any light...@echo you should definitely go for these!

Charlotta I wish wish the aqua blue color would come out but until now I have seen maybe just a tiny little hint of blue in the sea of grey...A comparison with my other “aqua blue” and “silver aqua blue” from my Love strand. 6EA8FB53-AE46-4647-9893-B8CC917C1A43.jpg - Click image for larger version Name:	C10F643B-9670-4F3A-B99F-7E1F751E3C52.jpg Views:	0 Size:	231.9 KB ID:	460265

I agree that some colors are hard to see eolian pearls. Sometimes maybe wishful from the sellers side. Like when south sea pearls are described as gold and they really are white with a hint of cream....if you squint and the light is warm...
Your Bliss strand is going to be marvellous when finished. The colors are so pretty

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I know nothing about pearls. I was hoping some of you experts could/would assist me in identifying these pearls.

So back story is really simple, I bought a storage unit at a online auction and one of the items in the unit was this pearl necklace. I rubbed them along my teeth to test if they were real and to my surprise they were very gritty indicating that they are... So the clasp says .925 on one side and on the other side it says "GCC" or "GOC" it's rather difficult to tell. And then "ST" below the G..C marking.. heres pictures. Any help, expertise, knowledge is appreciated. I'd love to give them to my fiance but I just want to know more about them first.

You've got a strand of strand of Chinese freshwater pearls. The clasp has the standard hallmark .925 for sterling silver. I'm not sure what the other hallmark might be.

I agree with jshepherd freshwater pearls, sterling silver clasp.

Thank you so much everyone! I am very behind and apologize for the blanket thank you. Eolian, I am really enjoying the journey of the Bliss strand. You are doing such a wonderful job of blending and combining the pearls into such an appealing strand. And then there are the keshi:p and the Takahashi pearls!:love:

Welcome Mandan and Qm1k! You look fabulous in your layers, Mandan! Qm1k, your freshwater pearls will look very nice with a little bath and restringing!

Wearing a multicolor Tahitian rope from an Intergem show, with blue Tahitian studs from Takahashi.
