My Pearls 2.0

Time flies. I still work with my pearls when I have time but I also crochet amigurumis and make clothes. We now have 4 grandchildren me and not-husband as well. I recently remade some pieces. This is Ocean Breeze using favorite pearls only. Not to worry, my Rainbow strand remains intact.

I also made a mixed south sea strand that I call Dream Catcher

I hope that everyone are well. Today Ibam in the mood of making me a tahitian.tincup. It doesn't always end as planned though

Except for restringing my pearls occasionally I haven't done much with them for a while, until last week when I remade a bunch of strands and bracelets. Like this blue green tahitian and white south sea strand that got longer

I have been trying to upload my photos for a while but the attatch button don't really work. Not even on the app. Happy to see everyone still posting as usual. I have been superbusy and design crochet patterns, both amigurumi and clothes, yet to be shared with others. Not-husband and the cats are doing fine. Smallest cat, now 5 years, says she is still a kitten....paws and ears are small! A little (cough) roundness in the middle part is normal for a kitten she says.

It's been a year since my last post. I still enjoy my pearls and remake them sometimes. This is my latest remake. Silver tahitans from Cees and smallish blue Collins tahitans from Pearlescence. I remade them last year as well, got an inch or so to long for a triple bracelet. Now it's perfect. I can use it as a necklace if I want to buy I haven't worn a necklace for months. Last year the doctors discovered some lumps in my thyroid by accident, they x-rayed my lungs. I have asthma. In april they removed about half of my thyroid, found some cancer cells they didn't think that they would find. But since they removed the lumps they don't have to do anything else unless the lumps on the left side grows. So except for being dead tired for months (the medicine needs to be adjusted) and sore and swollen everything is fine. Still with a band aid on my throth. We now have 6 grandchildren. I still design amigurumis and hope to one day turn them into a book or three......I relearned how to knit. Grandmother thought me to knit, crochet and embroider from when It was about 5. I always loved to learn new things. I still works a lot and not-husband recently turned 60. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. I check in sometimes.
