Excellent summary GemGeek! I was going to start a blog but never got around to it, someday!

This glorious new thread makes me feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have stumbled my way into Pearl-Guide.com!!!

"Pretty bloody cool" for sure! The colors and those keshi are amazing. I had no idea that the technician's skill related directly to the pearl colors. I always thought pearl color was dependent upon several factors, including environment, shell color, and mantle tissue. Thank you for opening up a whole new side of pearls. I wish you continued success!

We are blessed to have so many wonderful pearl farmers in our Pearl Guide Family. ♡♡♡

Excellent article, thanks Blaire!

DK :)

Very interesting. I did not know that the technician who seeds the pearls controls the color of the final pearl. Very interesting, indeed.
