I have a Pearl necklace that I am hoping someone can help me identify the maker. From my research they appear to be:
*Akoya cultured pearls
* Cream to rose in color
* Vintage ?
* Double knotted
* Has a Bow Tie Clasp
* Marked 750 on the tongue of the clasp (18k gold)

I thought they could be Mikimoto but they are missing the M and Clam hallmark.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi alex7228, and welcome to Pearl-Guide!

You appear to have a baroque cultured akoya necklace but I don't see any reason to think it is Mikimoto. If the clasp is original, it does seem to be vintage, based on the wear on the metal.

Are you planning to wear them? If so, it would be a good idea to restring them.

I concur. And I believe there is a site where you can see photos of jewelry clasps from all over the world...but I have forgotten the address and name! Or maybe I am remembering one of buttons.
The clasp could have been done by a small jeweler but those are indeed baroque Akoyas.
