Fiji Pearls

LMgarden, I love you bracelet! I plan to make a tin-cup necklace with the fijian pearls I collected, but maybe a bracelet is a better idea so I can see them more often! Justin, your fuschia pearls are stunning! ..and that drop, oh my!
Thank you, SunSeeker...I'm a bit late with responses, crazy busy wth work!
I really like being able to see the bracelet at any time while wearing it, but a tin cup necklace would look stunning, as well. Perhaps a long tin cup would be easier to view while wearing. Tough call, but either way, it'll be stunning!

Today I picked up my second Fiji bracelet! It's a tin cup with a repurposed yg bar from a broken bracelet. I needed a specific size Pearl so that the bar would sit on my wrist nicely, and these were the most colorful pearls I could find, as so many had been sold!
Here it is shown with the original bracelet, a few gold bracelets and a yg watch. And to my surprise I'm able to wear it as a choker, as well.
Was quite a fun day at PP with fellow pger's, Newberry and KaySD...but that's another thread!!!

I can't get over those colours!!

The new bracelet turned out great, it looks perfect layered with your other pieces and I love that you repurposed old jewellery to make it.

The colours are amazing. Unreal. And how wonderful the bar bracelet. I wonder if u can move it to the front and wear in the middle as the choker?

Your bracelets are stunning. I really like the Station bracelet with the watch!

Wonderful. Now you have a Fiji necklace as well, but I love the two Fiji bracelet look probably better.

Thanks for all the great photos.

lmgarden, your new bracelet is inventive and beautiful ... the choker is a stunning look too! So fun to get to say Hi yesterday even if only by phone :)

LMG, I want to come play in your jewelry box!

Love that Fiji bracelet. Wow! Wonderful that you've figured out how to wear it as a necklace, too!

I love the bracelet remake with the curved bar, although that first Fiji bracelet is my favorite. Those colors! That luster! I love that you can link them together and wear them as a choker. Even better.

And I love it with your 3 Little Figs.

Thamks Kalmen. I tried wearing the bar in front, but most of the colorful pearls were hidden in back of my neck, so I decided to show the pearls!

Thank you, Katalin. I agree that less is more with Fiji pearls - I'd feel way too self conscious to wear all these pieces together in public!

It was so lovely to talk even by phone yesterday at our mini ruckus! AND I'm looking forward to seeing the finished results of the lovely pieces your working on!!! Thanks!!!

Red, we're all waiting to see your 3 tone gold lariat necklace with your magnificent pearls...just saying...

BW, there weren't as many colors available for the bar bracelet. I agree the first is more colorful. The choker was a bit of a surprise, though - I didn't think both bracelets would fit around my neck. The 3 Kamoka figs finished off the look!

Thank you Hanadama & Sea Urchin!! It's all about the colors - they do look amazing in pictures and IRL!
