There's so much pearl fraud on ebay; it's disgusting. One's chances are so very small of getting a genuine Miki strand at a bargain price.
Are you wanting nice Akoyas, rounds, baroques? A graduated strand? Mikis only?

I don’t like Baroque pearls. I’ve seen in a nice large pearl necklace with a big silver clasp, in a local jeweller.

Yes, they are kosher. The so called Mikimoto looked like they came out of a Christmas Cracker.

Hi, the M on the fake necklace is for Marvella faux crap - not M for Mikimoto. I am in the process of getting a refund but the seller is playing the victim.

The seller is now telling me they are cream and sorry that I got them cheap - she’s happy they are being returned. However, she’s dragging her feet refunding. They are absolute crap - she’s still insisting they are real and tried to convince me they are cream - we can see the colour. She’s gaslighting me!

Can you share cleaner images, especially near the ends, and at an angle that shows the drill holes?

Are the pearls perfect round in the second strand? It's difficult to tell from the photos, but some appear to be off-round.

They are plastic and hardly weigh anything- I’ve seen the same that are Marvella faux pearls. The fail the pearl test - not cold and smooth on the teeth. They are not pearls. Enlarge the picture.

Are looking at the pearls with the circular clasp? If so, they are real sea pearls.

Hi, I will take pictures tomorrow- am in the UK and it’s bedtime. They are lovely - I bought the several weeks ago. I don’t know what pearls they are - was told sea pearls.

It appears that some of the pearls are off-round. They look like freshwater pearls to me.

Here is an image of two freshwater strands below to akoya strands. The FW pearls are very close to round, but not perfect round. The akoya pearls are perfect spheres.

They are. I got my £84 refund from EBay regarding the faux Marvella, plastic pearls, sold as Mikimoto.
