3 Strand Bracelet created using a 14K Gold and Sapphire Clasp. Owner says the bracelet has real value (over $2000 USD). Is that possible??

It's hard to estimate size from a picture. If you have the pearls in hand to measure, 6-7mm would be in the neighborhood of 1/4 inch.

I doubt you'd be able to resell this piece for $2000. Here's a similar bracelet that sold on Ruby Lane for $1250. Even this one, with six strands of small pearls and diamonds on the clasp and spacers, went for $1695.

You can search eBay to see selling prices of comparable items. Use the advanced search and then select the option to search completed listings. That will give you a more realistic idea of selling prices.

I agree with Bacca - and fashion trends affect pricing, so I also think design-wise the clasp is a big heavy for the pearls. The bracelets Bacca posted have a large clasp but its finer nonetheless.
You need if possible to actually be able to try bracelets on, they can sit strangely on the wrist with an oversize or heavy clasp ...

By real value, do you mean retail value? In a retail environment like a jewelry store, a three row akoya bracelet could easily sell for $2000, especially with a special clasp. But the pearls are likely either 6-6.5mm or 6.5-7mm, and that makes a significant difference in value. Akoya are rarely ever measure in full millimeter increments.

Thanks to all for sharing your expertise. I measured the pearls as best i could and they are 6.5-7mm. From my research the clasp seems to be originally from a necklace rather than a bracelet, which would explain why it appears too big/heavy. The owner has a retail store and has asked me to help him sell several pieces on EBAY. I will only list things that I know are authentic and at a fair market value, which has brought me here to get an idea of what he has, is he being truthful with me and can I list his items without any concerns. From your responses, i surmise that the bracelet is worth what he thinks if he was to sell it in his store at full retail, EBAY is another issue. Again thanks to all for sharing.
