Well, they just sent a very nice email which made me feel better. I guess my purchase wasn’t in a big enough amount to merit much attention.
 
I look forward to the review of the pearls! I thought I saw mention of baroque GSS but maybe I dreamed it?

They are indeed golden SS baroques. And they are sitting on my doorstep right now in a FedEx box. I may need to leave the office early!

Since I cannot get gold SS keshi at a reasonable price, I’ve been having a very immature, golden pearl buying TANTRUM (patience is a quality I have tried to cultivate with little success). Perhaps it’s quantity over quality, but I think the PP necklace will save me on that front. Will post pics of the spoils later.
 
Well, the pearls are just gorgeous. Beautiful luster! They had no baroque earrings made up so I got 2 loose pearls to mount myself. I may need to add other pearls to those earrings given the size of the biggest pearls in the necklace.

Also, the tantrum resulted in these akoyas from Starlit Pearls. Believe it or not, these are not color treated or dyed (or that is what the Seller said!). One more golden akoya necklace is on the way (a triple strand). “Golden” - like in SS pearls - sure covers a wide range of shades in akoyas. I think my golden pearl collection is complete - for now.

A great size, for both the necklace and the earring pearls. Eye-catching but still very wearable.
My GSS drop shaped dangles are also 12.6mm and I don't find them too heavy at all. (And I don't like to wear heavy earrings).

Is stacking two gold SS pearls on top of each other for earrings too much? Maybe I should get 2 more from PP . . .

IMO that is overkill, in this size. And twice as heavy.

Here are my 12.6mm drops, bought from Rolay on Etsy (same vendor as Pearl Society on eBay). I have large ear lobes so I favor larger pearls for earrings. But two, stacked? Too much, even for me.
