All My Pearls

Cathy:
Evan on the Pearl Guide there is a possibility that hearing voices isn't a good thing. (What do they tell you to do?)LOL
barbie::p;)

My husband is an accountant.. his motto: "don't keep the merchandise"
How silly is THAT!!! I ignore him! lol
Some pearls speak to me so how can I let them go?

When Gandhi died he had 13 items total in or on his presence. He owned nothing else. We do not know but probably his wife had about 30 when she passed away. It's a long dark, hidden secret. (Probably 15 of the 30 were pearl necklaces, naturals of course.)

No offense intended to anyone.

..but it is normal

My husband often falls for pieces and gets sad when they are sold, but happy that they are then paid for. I guess I could ask him to buy them if he really likes them, but somehow that seems...odd, and I would have to give him such a discount. Actually, it's hard to sell to family and friends, because I want to give them such a deal, and I have to weigh what I have in the piece versus what I could make by selling to a normal person. I often make my family discounts based on how popular I the piece has been or I think it will be - projected profit, I guess. I also make and give pieces to those family and friends that have been good costumers. I love to make something specifically for someone, that's so much fun to match personality and taste to a piece.

That has happened to me too Cathybear.
(most recently to those big purple/lavender etc untreateds you liked, Caitlin)

Oh Dear.
Well there's no hope for me then; every single pearl I own screams "keep me".
And I very often do.
Thank Heavens I'm not Jeremy. :D

Wendy, were you wearing the big purples in the Stonehenge photo with Josh? They looked great!

Pearls are always calling to me. Here is what they say:

Buuuuy Meeeee, Blaire, ..... Buuuuuuyyyye Meeeeeee!

OK, I'm stocking up for the Christmas rush and just got these in. Don't know what to do first, string 'em, sort em', load up the web site, stare at them, sleep with them, or put them on PG. Duh. Plus strands in waiting, and on Sunday I am getting a very special Pirate delivery via Surfer Mail from one island to another. Can't wait, can't wait. :p
Like Sueki says, gotta get organized.

Gorgeous keshis! I particularly like the purply ones. I seem to have caught the purple fever from Caitlin. (That's my current excuse)

Can't wait to see what your Surfer Delivery brings. ;)

Are you in a particularly keishi mood, Sheryl?
I seem to be, don't I? I guess they reflect who I am the best - a little twisted, hard to describe, colorful, non-traditional, and definitely non-nucleated!!! :D

Yummy keshis, especially the silvery white ones!

What is the deal when keshis are white? Are they bleached? Does anyone know? I would assume they are but that silvery tone makes me wonder.

Hi Sheryl,
So yummy!!! It's like seeing colorful sorbet. I love the purple keshi too. So the surfer delivery is on its way from Oahu? I can't wait to see what you are getting. :)

Should natural FW keshi be white or silver? I bought a 35"strand of keshi at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago and they are silvery white. I don't know whether they are dyed or natural color.

I like those bluey silver and silver Keshis!

DK :)

These are all natural color as far as dye goes. I don't know about the bleaching on the white ones. I will post another pic of them, as this does not do justice to the strand. Look out Mrs. Gould!

Love the little krinkly ones! .. quite te surprise... wouldn't have thought...

How big are they?

And the smallest rounds?
