Revisiting Men in Pearls - a Pearl Guide News Article

I've used Jac's leather on the pearls, and it seems to work very nicely. Whatever leather you use, just remember to condition it from time to time with a little shea butter. For my son and his friends, I used pearls that ranged from 12-14mm.

eta: My husband isn't into wearing any jewelry besides his wedding band...he doesn't even like to wear a watch.

Thanks, guys! I'll check out the roo leather.

My go to piece is this bracelet that Josh's Dad made for me as I was leaving Kamoka/Ahe. I pretty much wear it every day and get nothing but compliments about it.

Great bracelet, davidL!! No mistaking its masculinity - love it!

Here is the chain links (as always the pics are not the best) but I am more about the presentation for you all versus details :eek:P:

DavidL, that bracelet is so perfect. BlackPearlDudeDC, love the pearls mixed with the big chain links!

Wow, the heavy chain works very well with the Tahitians - looks great on you!

That is really cool. I am glad to hear you wear it often, something like this is my goal, an everyday piece. I want a nice purple/Aubergine Tahitian.

Thanks, this is the base necklace for the Fluorite wolf head (being assembled now) I'll be able to clip it on and off...who knows it might be over kill. I also like the idea of the heavy links, its very me lol, now just gotta find the right links for the pearls and wolf head.

I really like these links. The links were a bracelet (gift) from a designer I met years ago, she was heavy into designing with pearls and silver wire wrap links, mostly freshwater pearls. I stopped wearing the bracelet because it was so rather heavy against the "desk" while techie-nerding.

I wish I could take better photos, the overtones are very Green and slight purples, they look good with the fluorite wolf head.

I'm in love with the pearl/heavy chain combo, that's awesome!

I don't want to wear a "strand" so I thought this might be a cool alternative, I'm glad y'all approve high praise from pearl fans indeed! I've got some other ideas too, just need to work them out in my head :)
