My Natural Pearl Collection

Thank you, Lisa, Blaire and Pattye! I'm really glad I sent this to my jeweler because it ended up needing new posts as well as 12 of the prongs retipped. My jeweler used a laser welder in order to save the patina. He really gets me ;)

That's gorgeous!!! I've learned a lot from your thread and your pearls. Lovely Pipis and gorgeous setting!

Happy trails Andreas. Let us know when you are settled back. I'm going to spend more time on the forum these days. My pearl addiction came back, and i'm indulging in it. Always a pleasure to read your posts. All the best !

Thanks, Sophie! I've been pretty absent on here lately as well, all the moving has been wearing. So glad to hear your pearl obsession has returned, I always love seeing your finds :)

New project!
Finally found a setting for a pearl I've had a while. I'm going to have it plated in white gold and will keep the 6 prong arrangement. An acquaintance in LA is going to do it for me, so now I just wait for the setting to get here .

That's a gorgeous strand, MSC! I love the colors and luster on those golden pipis. Congratulations on the completion of a wonderful project : )

Thanks, JP and BN! I'm happy to have finally completed this one. Now, to do a bracelet. I sourced a nice clasp for that, but it'll take a while to get the pearls. These projects certainly require patience :)

JP the ring is getting its makeover as we speak! We ended up going with rhodium plating, so hopefully it'll turn out well.
