What a lovely pearls you have, Ramona! I love those lavenders in the first picture and the first-generation Kasumi. What a pity you do not wear them, they would attract quite some looks. But may be one day you would feel like it again.
Well, and if you ever decide to sell them, I am happy to start queueing right now
Here is a ring I designed and created for the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in the Keys (Florida Keys)
I have designed several new designs for Cheeca & Wyland Galleries and I'm looking for a supplier for 9-10 and up Tahitian Pearls.
Two designs that I commissioned to be made from pearls I owed. I chose designs, mailed him pearls and after many weeks of painful back and forth through the email this is the result.
I don't have them yet.... Those are pictures made by the goldsmith who made them. Pearl for octopus is 16mm diameter, ring one is 12mm
I like a lot this fat bellied octopus. Ring with gold flames circling the very wrinkly pearl is also (I think) interesting.
Wow, just saw the amazing additions to this thread!
Ramona, absolutely love your "rock" pearl necklaces! They rock!!
Dawn, the seahorse design is so lovely!
Ivona, the octopus is to die for!!
Thanks for sharing these beauties and making my morning so bright and beautiful!
Was inspired by your faceted pearl necklace and just ordered a strand of these pearls to see how they look! Lovely pearls all around!! And that orange sapphire..whew .. hot stuff!!
And those rings ! Fabulous colours in the pearls and great designs!
Ramona, Dawn, Ivona, Sheryl - you all are much too creative! Swoon, you've made and designed such beautiful things.
I have taken a pause to let my bank acct. catch its breath but with spring here, I feel a surge of energy coming. I have a strand of rainbow irridescent kasumi style pearls on the way and my eye on some other strands to try making an endless rope (no idea how to do that yet!).
Wanna share some of recent work from the goldsmith I'm working with. I sketched the design on paper, explained the details, and he worked on it fairly quick.
This ring is kinda OTT, it's a request from my aunt. After making the design I was a bit afraid on how it would turn out, but my aunt was very happy with the result
12mm cream SSP, 18K gold, small diamonds, and semi-processed stones.
For this one, I had a bunch of keshi pearls lying around, so I designed this pendant. When it was finished, it turned out bigger than I expected so I asked the metal worker to add pin on the back. So now it's a pendant that double functions as brooch.
9 mixed color keshi SSP, palladium alloy (for cost-saving), and several small diamonds.
