Natural Pearls on Etsy?

Hi,
I found this listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/513585227/natural-pearls-from-mexico-pinctada?ref=shop_home_active_1

The certificate says it's from a Pteria species, the seller states it's from the Pinctada Mazatlania. I think he meant Pinctada Mazatlantica.

What do you think of this?

Probably the best thing to do is ask the seller. He does have some other kind of natural pearls labeled correctly.

They look a lot like a strand of natural sea of cortez pearls I got from Druzy Design. If they are, they are probably extremely tiny. In mine, the longest ones are about 4mm. I had a necklace and bracelet made using wire link. I posted pictures on the sea of cortez thread.

Yes, these are tiny. I think your pearls are much bigger.
