Freshwater pearls ???

Hello,
I have had these Hikari pearls for at least 20 years, I am trying to sell but have no clue what they are worth, if anything at all. Does anyone have any idea, also, can you tell me if these are freshwater pearls or not. I'm clueless when it comes to pearls.

I think those are "rice krispie" pearls, popular in the 70's etc. before the more advanced current methods of culturing freshwater pearls made larger, rounder pearls more common. I don't think they're worth too much financially (I'd think under $100 used). They're pretty, though!

is there any hallmarks on the clasp, or markings that is it solid gold or plated? that might add value to the necklace too.
