Looking for natural pearls for research project

Hello everyone, I am working on a new reserach project and wish to acquire high quality imaging of natural (non-cultured pearls) so I can observe their inner structures under a microscope. At themoment, I have a wide variety of freshwater pearls but they are all cultured. Do you have any suggestions on where I can find natural pearls? Thank you.

What is the research project and under what academic umbrella? Is it images you want or actual pearls. It is fairly easy to obtain natural pearls from any of the websites which sell them.

I also have natural pearls that I could part with...I have them for collection and research. They are not "gem grade" but I have assorted groups from several different species of pearl oysters, clams, conchs, abalone, pen shells.
