Two clasps become one

Not so much what pearls do I have, but has anyone seen a similar clasp before? Came across my desk with a stringing job this week. No hallmarks, no metal marks, but seem to be diamonds as I can see inclusions under a loupe.
Amazing workmanship to have two separate graduated strands become one double….oh and the pearls are pretty nice too!

A number of years ago we carried a clasp with a similar function, turning a double strand into two singles.

Yes Pattye, one slightly longer than the other to stack beautifully, and princess length. I should have taken a neck shot before giving it back!
